Just my 2 cents. Completely forget about these 1% clubs, and being hung up on how much you have and competing with other people. Realistically you will never have enough. Adopt a mature investment strategy and buy what you can and build your own consistent buying frequency. Tell nobody and stick to your plan. I don’t think you can go wrong. There is so much immaturity within the digital asset space with all these clubs and crap. At the end of the day it’s about your financial plan and what’s best for you and your family.

Once you learn about the Bitcoin Cicle, you would understand that after this Bullrun that ends around the end of 2025 there will be a bear market where the price might fall back to the level of maybe 60-70k. If the institutions will not break the bear pattern and will scoop up all BTC at a higher price so it will not drop that drastically. Who knows. So if you miss this boat now you will only have the chance to laser focus on gathering wealth as much and as fast as you can to be prepared for the next bear market bottom. What Hodl never explains is: Why one whole coin? It sounds like unit bias to me, as he talks around the issue, explaining the importance of scarcity (I agree), but he doesn't get down to brass tacks as to how he decided an entire whole coin is the mark. Why not two, or a half, or some other figure, why one? It seems to me the real figure is actually unknowable, as it depends on how much ultimately gets locked up. More over, the actual figure is also likely to decline over time, as supply is lost, more global production has to be accounted for, and new participants want to take a position. So it's really more of a question of what amount over what time period? Because the larger stake you take, the sooner you reach that point.

It depends on your other assets. If you own a decent house or long-term growth stocks (Tesla, MSFT etc.) these also are important. If you sold these to buy BTC you’d probably want 4-5 BTC.

It is very hard to get 1 bitcoin. Only a small number of wealthy people can achieve this or early adopters. I am not a buisness owner but have a good job in the UK and in top 10% of household incomes. After bills I do dca every month. I have realised unless I use altcoins to increase my capital it's almost impossible. I hope to reach 1 bitcoin after this cycle. Currently at 0.3 with 50% of my crypto portfolio in bitcoin. Boys 1 btc is just a numbers. We need to talk about relative wealth/earnings not just get to 1. Plus sound pretty shitty that I only got 1. For myself that earns over 6 figures comparatively for me that owns over the suggested amount of btc, I can’t even put my 1 month earnings to move my btc stake percentage 1% anymore. Once you get to that point you have to let appreciation of the asset just do its job. Then diversify to another bag where your 10-20% salary goes somewhere else. I choose kaspa because my 20% in moved the needle a lot. Now I got that bag full too. Cannot put 10% of my earnings and move my bag more than 5% anymore. I’ll let the gains in appreciation take it from there. What’s the next bag? We gotta thinks smarter than round whole numbers like get to 1 btc or your fucked idea.
