Don’t worry a lot of moms are like that. I am African American and I was raised on my dad’s side while my mom was working. No man is the head of the household. Just judgmental women who talk behind each other’s backs. That’s why I’m kind of really against both sides of my family. There are only certain family members that I get along with and those are mostly ones that I haven’t seen in a long time. How I describe the women in my family is kind of exactly like the book Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan. The only thing is that we aren’t rich...

lol haven't you already uploaded this video like a year or so ago? All 3 desi aunties give a bad rep to the culture but the bitchiness and gossip is also quite accurate and we can't ignore that it exists and happens quite a lot in the community!

You know, I do think that they should take into consideration that some Indian dishes are cooked differently depending on which state you are from. Daal is one of those things that has regional variations.

My desi aunties are normally encouraging of each other's food! Every "____ tries other _____'s food" video with Buzzfeed somehow finds participants throwing the most shade before even trying it.
