Very nice restoration, carefully done. The rechargeable feature makes this flashlight better than new. An led bulb, which would fit without modification, would be brighter and reduce consumption on the battery pack. But I'm not complaining . It's an excellent job.

Another of your great restorations , well done . Lots of comments about what the correct name is for it , some are correct about it not being a flashlight because its British but torch is not really correct either . Lamp would be a better name for it . Very useful with the swivel head to point the light where you want it if working on something in the dark . A usb socket would be a good addition for charging . A happy new year to you all from Ukraine , its a bit late but then again we have another one in two days from now , the orthodox church Christmas

Overall looks ok. I would have however, nickel plated and polished the reflector, updated the old incandescent bulb for a LED COB unit, and used some potting compound or industrial heat shrink on that battery/charger combo

Бесспорно, восстановление фонаря из состояния мусор, до состояния отличная винтажная вещица, это конечно очень здорово! Но Ваше видео смотрят молодые люди. Так паять как Вы показали, это..... Без использования неприличных слов у меня не получится. Если бы, так паяли у нас на производстве, то такого работника скорее всего уволили без выходного пособия, а возможно и линейкой по рукам били.
