British Mini Bikes : Pit bike Supermoto race at Three Sisters track

I hired a pit bike to compete in the British Mini Bikes round at Three Sisters race track. We had a great weekend of elbows out, close racing! First time I've ridden one of these 140cc pit bikes, took a bit of getting used to, but it was extremely fun!
Didn't manage to do too badly, got a 4th place in Race 1, 6th in Race 2 and 4th again in race 3.

Great stuff. I enjoyed that. Many years ago, I took part in a 4 hour endurance race at Lydden on a 70cc suzuki. It was brilliant fun. This looks very tempting.

Yeah that's one thing I'd like to have a go at too. I've seen the freetec endurance races on 125cc, they look absolute chaos, but fun at the same time! One day I'll give it a go. Just need a team to do it with 😊

Yeah it was really good fun. It took me a while to get used to it. By the end of the first day I felt a lot better. I would like to do another race!

Yeah wasn't it just. I was only riding the Saturday/Sunday on the hired bikes, so managed to avoid it. Was a good weekend though. Impressive seeing the younger riders flying around!

What was the problem during Race 2? Did Andy find anything ?

The bike kept miss fueling with the carbs. But when I ran off, the clutch was slipping. I changed down a gear and it dropped into nothing, had to coast around the corner, then It did It again. The other lad hiring the bike had the same issue. It was better in race 3.

Cheers mate appreciate the nice comment. Yeah I'd recommend it, it's really fun. I especially liked how chilled out the racing is, compared to say a bigger club like No Limits. Just makes it a relaxing weekend. I guess with it being less powered for the bikes, it's just more easy going and less nerve wracking. 😀

@@ChasingTenths cheers mate, yeah it's a lot better. Makes it much easier to edit too. I couldn't run my usual two cameras on the bike this time. But wasn't too bad with just the one. Managed to block a lot of wind noise 😀

Brilliant mate,i sold my cb500 and got a honda crf150 supermoto, alot cheaper and more fun i would say
