@@SuggyRacing You've kept it for so long! Yeah it's due for an upgrade, it's a bike that can do everything great but nothing perfect imo, but that's what makes it amazing. Decent low torque, comfy clip ons, pretty stable unless you smash the throttle (imo everything that exceeds 200kmph needs a stabiliser) , could use better brakes etc.. How did you find the suspension? I am a heavy rider 100kg so for me it was underwhelming.

@@manbiteslife3110 yeah as a bike, I can't fault it. It's probably one of the best all rounders as you say. I still love riding it, it's just that I like doing track days and racing now. So I barely ride it. I'm tempted to not even bother with a road bike after this. Yeah what let's this down are brakes and suspension can always be better on any bike. But, it's still a decent ride on the road. Yeah if you are heavier, maybe get someone to try set it up for you. They will come set to a standard setting which is never ideal

@@SuggyRacing I've seen a lot of track videos in your page. I had a cbr500r when I was doing some track days and advanced lessons and it was so fun, and I kept up with everyone. The joys of riding a slow bike fast is unmatched. I need to get back on the track to hone the skills some more. So right now you don't want to ride bikes in the street or maybe you have a smaller one for errands? @@JeanMelim Hey. Thanks for the follow, appreciate it. We are hoping for around the 60hp mark. So it's slightly under at the moment. There's loads you can do to these, we decided to do it a budget friendly as we could. The next stage is doing larger pistons and much more work. Yes without issue. As a percentage I have only removed 5% of the EX guide which is minimal. You are right in what you’re thinking, it is always better to have valve stability & heat dissipation over the small gain in flow which is why on any heads we do, we would only ever remove valve guide material if there is enough to remove without sacrificing stability & heat dissipation.
