The British pound - historically one of the safest and strongest currencies in the world could become worthless very soon.
I no longer hold any UK pounds, instead all my money is in UAE dirhams, US dollars and in the future other currencies like the Singapore dollar, but no UK pounds.
That is even though I lived in the UK for a long time and there was a time that all my money was in pounds, but now zero.
And in this video I am going to explain why that is.

Totally get it. As a patriotic Brit it hurts to watch videos like this. Young mobile workers with no anchors, no allegiances, locating where weather, culture and money gets a better return. However, we British always bounce back. The arts, music, film, fashion and literature. No one comes anywhere near us. I agree that we’ve become addicted to cheap foreign labour and it’s made people lazy but these things will pass and in 20 years time, we’ll talk about the 20’s like people discuss the 20’s and 30’s in the US. Ok, the weathers pretty rubbish but when the sun does come out, there nowhere I’d like to be more than the UK The fact that this and the in depth video focus almost entirely on london gives a big clue as to the city centric view point of the author and maybe the “ business partners” who can help you move may be influencing the tone and integrity of the message and did make me question the veracity somewhat……

I keep mine in crypto, most in Bitcoin but Jasmy and Pepe are my best performers. Some is in gold now too. And I complete on a house sale next week, all going off shore too. It’s too dangerous in England now. Risks off shore but risks here too. Government has its eye on every penny of it now, regarding all money as theirs…even crypto!

@@njpringle lol that's not even 8 years XD you're such a bad liar. If you actually go back 8 years (June 10 2016 to June 9 2024), GBP is down 12.5% vs USD. How about 10 years? A much more natural time period. GBP is down 25% vs USD over that timeframe. This is why I said what you were doing was cherry picking. You cherry picked the bottom of the USD/GDP value in 2016 as your starting point, in a vain attempt to say that the pound has maintained its value. Embarrassing.

#Silver #Ag for smaller & frequently needed money and #Gold #Au for larger and future use money. Most currencies are going to collapse because they're linked to the #USD, commodity backed currencies are likely to decline far less rapidly though, maybe even hold their value if their governments are honest

All currencies erode and depreciate in value and purchasing power…but major thing to keep in mind is that the world currency is gold/USD……….and that US Dollar’s value is based on the US’ credit rating and gold reserves etc Consequently all currencies value or rather pace of erosion and depreciation is correlated and caused by that currency’s country’s gold reserve, credit rating, competitive standing in trade, import, exports etc

UK had some of the largest record for companies registered last year. That point alone is a fact. However, lets talk about the individual vs the corporate. Coming labour government will make it less attractive for companies to be registered here. It can be a negative factor. If said assets decrease in value due to currency, normally it encourages foreign investment. E.g. when UK pound was devalued during brexit, we had some of the largest tourist numbers on record. I do agree Signapore is a safe heaven and promising. But the other points has some bias and feel its attached to your affiliations creating a conflict of interest.

What's the problem with having all of your assets in USD? You live in Dubai, so you're not paying taxes on capital gains, meaning it doesn't really matter how much the USD inflates. Additionally, if the US economy tanks for whatever reason, you can be pretty sure that such an event is also going to destroy the stability of companies traded in other currencies, because a US in recession means a world in recession. In this high inflation world, holding fiat money does not seem like a particularly good strategy, regardless of the currency. Am I missing something?
@blankexistence

You're missing out on BRICS, it's the new crypto financial system and another big club you aren't a part of. Loads of countries from around the world are taking part, which will reduce the reliance on the USD as it's disconnected from the SWIFT banking system.
