My British candy box came today!! I opened it with my fiancé and we tasted everything!! Our favorite chips that we tasted were Cheeseburger flavored, it tasted exactly like a cheeseburger we both were astonished. One of my favorite chocolates that I tasted (he doesn’t like chocolate all that much) was the toffee crisp! It was my favorite thing, similar to a KitKat (US candy) but also different as it had chocolate in the middle as well!! Very very delicious! Everything was amazing, I would totally recommend people purchasing a box as it was a fun and new experience!

Weird they called it that because there's also a Chinese dish called "ants on a tree/log" which is minced pork and translucent mung bean (I think) noodles with a spicy sauce. Personally, I've usually had celery sticks (besides w/ buffalo wings) w/ ranch, peanut butter or spreadable cheese.

In college (university), the best drunk food was a fluffer nutter but made like a grilled cheese. We would occasionally throw in some chocolate chips and banana, too. The fluffer nutter was definitely not considered a lunch item to me (or any of my friends), but PB&J was a staple item in my elementary American lunches :).

I've been to the Cape Cod Potato Chip Factory ... and you get a sample at the end of the tour, it was pretty great. I grew up in Connecticut right next door to Massachusetts, I grew up eating Fluffer-Nutter sandwiches and many of them were in my lunchbox, and they were always made with Jif Peanut Butter and occasionally my mom would serve it on toast so the peanut butter and fluff got all melty, oh goodness I want one now and I'm close to 60 years old and my daughter who will be 31 next month still makes herself the good ole' fluffer-nutter. You pretty much can get Cape Cod chips throughout the U.S. but there was a time when their distribution was much more limited. Here is another little trick for you with the fluffer-nutter sandwich, add a layer of those Cape Cod Chips ... crunchy sweet peanut filled goodness. Thanks for sharing this experience with, and Al really made me laugh when he said he couldn't really imagine eating peanut butter on bread, it's probably a real American thing to do.

My sister makes a fruit dip with fluff and cream cheese😊 so yummy. I've never thought about pb&j sandwiches not being a common thing everywhere!

Im in new Zealand now, but grew up in South Africa, and I think its so odd that you don't have peanut butter sandwiches 😂
@ThisWithThem4 жыл бұрын
Haha 😂 I can honestly say we have never had one in our lives 😂

@@ThisWithThem we had them growing up for school sandwiches (not with Marshmallow or white bread 😂) and many children in nz have them for lunch, so it's so strange to me to hear that you've never had them 😯

As a southern boy I have never had a fluffer nutter sandwich. I think that is a very New England thing. I have had about 5000 peanut butter sandwiches so when Alex said he thought it was strange to eat peanut butter on bread I almost fell out of my chair!! I only eat peanut butter on bread- nothing else besides Reese's peanut butter cups. One of my favorite candy bars. Very good video and Cape Cod to me are the best potato chips- especially the black pepper. Have a good and safe week.

haha, it's really not a thing here 😂 Oh those black pepper ones are insane!! Thank you Brandon, hope you have a great week too

I love Fluffernutters. It's great on buttered toast (real butter, not margarine) too.

This is making me crave a fluffanutter! I’m from Maine and that would always be a lunch for us kiddos!

Born and raised in Massachusetts Fluff is/was a staple in our house ever since I can remember. My late brother would only eat Fluffernutter sandwiches for his lunch in school. I can't ever recall him eating a PB&J like the rest of us.

Cape Cod Chips are kettle cooked usually in small batches. Wise chips are regular manufactured chips. If you like a little crunch in this sandwich try chunky peanut butter.

Growing up in New England, I’ve eaten many fluffernutters. My favorite combo is raspberry fluff with crunchy peanut butter. Of course with a side of Cape Cod chips and a Nantucket Nectars drink to wash it all down with.
@ThisWithThem4 жыл бұрын
Oh awesome, not tried a Nantucket Nectar drink. Sounds interesting

You can use crunchy peanut butter for a Fluffernutter sandwich. Not sure if you have had crunchy peanut butter, but it is peanut butter with chopped peanuts in it to give you that crunch. You can put chips or crisps as you know them on your sandwich before you put the two sides together for an added crunch. This can also be done with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich giving you that savory and sweet mix.

I love Nutter Fluffers. But also try Nutella, Marshmallow fluff, and fry in a pan like you would grilled cheese, with butter. Put confectionery/powdered sugar. Takes just like a chocolate donut. I threw this together when I was pregnant and didn't know what I wanted. 😂
@Lewshus4 жыл бұрын
You should try peanut butter and syrup. Doesn't matter what type of syrup. Just mix them together and microwave it for about 20 seconds. Spread it on whatever you like (toast is always a great option) and enjoy!

Oh wow! I feel like I might enjoy that more then just normal PB! Thanks Josh

I looooove fluffernutters, I grew up in the Midwest so I was the weirdo putting marshmallows on my peanut butter sandwich until I found the joy that is fluff. ❤️

I absolutely love fluffnutters and I’m from West Virginia. But I also have another favorite to go with a peanut butter sandwich is putting cream cheese cake icing you get from the store already made
@jbdew174 жыл бұрын
I like peanut butter and fluff in between two Ritz crackers, make little "sandwiches" out of them. You will get your "crunch" too by doing that along with a little more saltiness. I also used to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with them as a kid.

When we go camping (I live in Canada) we make campfire pies with white bread, fluff and nutella and/or peanut butter. My husband likes to put kettle cooked chips in his peanut butter fluff campfire pie for a nice crunch with the gooey salty sweet. The bread gets all nicely toasted with butter on the outside in the pie oven. It really is a camping treat only :) As for Peanut butter and jelly - YUM ! for me it has to be raspberry or grape jelly. Peanut butter on celery sticks with raisins on top is a classic lunch time snack for kids here, we call it ants on a log.
