They say original is always best but lemme tell you, double coat or caramel are the way to go. The extra layer of chocolate really takes it to a whole new level, and it's such smooth chocolate... I'm glad you guys tried this, but for the full #straya experience you should have done it with a hot Milo haha

The best idea is to keep them in the fridge, its the happy medium, they are cold enough to last until they get into your mouth and still give you the full flavour experience. Also note that you only need a really small corner bitten off, that makes your Tim Tam 'straw' just that little bit longer and it still sucks through effectively! Cold milk slams are also awesome!!! Tea in a teapot. One bag per person and one for the pot. Pour on water and leave for 3-5 minutes. Pour a little milk into a cup or mug and then pour in the tea. Sugar if you really have to goes in last.

It has to be a hot drink, because that's what makes the tim tam melt. Not usually tea, More like coffee, hot chocolate or warm milk.

You gotta try Chocolate or white chocolate covered oreos. You bite off one end of each (2 bites total) and drink through milk (never tried tea) and then put the whole thing in your mouth. Yum!

The slam should be done with a hot beverage so it melts.. I prefer a hot chocolate or a hot milo which is a chocolate drink we have in Australia over tea or coffee

Maybe I'm a bit weird but I add water to the tea bag, let it brew then add the milk, continue brewing, then lift the tea bag onto the teaspoon then wrap the tea bag string around the tea bag and spoon and press on the tea bag and allow the tea to stain the milk to a darker colour.. for the best results add a half teaspoon of honey - give it a try, it's heavenly👍

Depends on the quality of your China-ware. Milk goes in first to temper hot liquid from cracking the cup/China. Also, I'm American, tried milk in English Breakfast hot tea YUMMMM. TRY IT ! don't hate without the knowledge ! ps... tasted buds in EVERY SINGLE person are different. LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Tim Tam Slams are even better if you bite a slither off the entire end (not just the corners). Hold it in your teeth as you suck up your hot drink. Have a finger ready to help you shove it into your mouth just before it melts. As you get more practise, you’ll be able to do it without using a finger- no chocolate mess! oh for goodness sake .. I think I invented this in the 70s :).. try using extra creamy milk. . in the USA they call it "half and half". milk. (I' ve use actual cream). warm chocolate or milo is also good (as others have mentioned). Some people use irish cream liquor. And don't "bite off a corner". nibble a tiny hole on two diagonal corners.. it makes it easier to suck as it's longer.. and more like a straw.

Aussie here I make tea for my mum dad n sister n they all like it a little different but ever since I did some reading up we have adapted some “proper” tea etiquette we leave the tea bag in the boiling hot water for four minutes before taking it out then adding milk however when making my dads tea he likes his left in the whole time he will not take the bag out then when he’s finished he‘ll top up with the same bag n I just think that’s disgusting he drinks it black when there’s no milk but if there’s milk he likes his milky and drinks it tempered with the bag in my sister on the other hand likes to put her tea bag in then puts sugar (raw sugar) then the hot water then let’s sit for four takes the bag out then adds milk n stirs it n finally mum likes hers tea bag boiling water sit for 4 then tea bag out then a dash or two of milk she likes her tea piping hot

This should only be undertaken with HOT COFFEE or Milo if your caffeine intolerant....and if your a diabetic measure up your coffin first!
