English speakers usually don't get Jisoo's part where she's wearing "the weird" head piece. It's a very conceptual take on the expression "Cry tears of blood (suffer a lot)" present in languages like Portuguese, Spanish, Korean, etc. which she sings in that part... and the background you see that it forms an eye and her head piece is the blood.

Yeah when you think about it, I think the message is pretty clear. Thanks to Jolly, I didn't notice Aphrodite previously or that Rose was kinda killing herself, Ji Soo a bride and the type of trap as a bear trap as it is commonly associated with love "bear-hugging" and love can sometimes really be trap. "Commit to love that makes you cry/kills you inside"

I do that all the time it's kinda bad, I watched gravityFalls I'm sorry it's a part of me now
@scarletchiong50535 жыл бұрын
@@dreamsteddybearsmaster the bride thing was kinda wrong though. It was Aphrodite versus Artemis. Aphrodite is the goddess of love, and like what they said, she kinds of represents sex, and Artemis is a virgin goddess. They always oppose each other. Artemis and Apollo, her twin, have bow and arrows as a weapon from Zeus. Technically, it was Artemis, the more righteous one, not the most, killed Aphrodite, love itself. Kill this love. If you wanna kill love, you kill Aphrodite.
@dreamsteddybearsmaster5 жыл бұрын
@@scarletchiong5053 Wow, you know your Greek mythology it seems! So Jisoo is meant to be Aphrodite when she is dressed in white while Artemis with the flaming arrow? I just thought she was a bride cause the attire kinda resembles it as if it was a dress for a formal occasion, usually, the white would be different
@scarletchiong50535 жыл бұрын
@@dreamsteddybearsmaster It can be interpret in that way too. But I think it's more of a Greek Myth. Other people also posted videos about thinking the same thing. The place they were shooting the scene screams Greek Myth to me. Like those old castles. Either way, it was the same concept as the car with Rosè where she will kill the love in herself, where in Jisoo's case, she killed the goddess of love. And speaking of the place where they shoot the arrow scene, at the time where the Jisoo in a white dress appeared and look at the camera after running, you can actually see the glass window behind her are made up of heart patterns. Just pointing that out. Hehehe

Theology is very vague, and mythology makes it more clear that whatever it is they are saying is just a myth of a nice little story, but nothing more than a story, that was written down a very very long time ago. Obviously I didn’t mean that it can’t always be described as theology, since yk, the word theology is literally about the study of god, but yk, I think it would be BETTER to describe christianity as mythology.

The people at your church hasn’t fully chewed through the bible then. They’re too focused on the bible telling you not to divorce, that they forgot the bible also suggests you to stay away from toxic relationships. Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV). You have to let go of any toxic relationship and put your trust in God. “In fact, the Scriptures are full of teachings instructing us to leave relationships with wicked or evil people, to be separate from them, to shun, outcast, and purge them from our midst. (1 Corinthians 15:33, Proverbs 13:20, Psalm 1:1, Proverbs 6:27, 1 Corinthians 5:11, 1 Corinthians 10:13 - these are just a few).”

This video's description mentioned that they're making a new series on the main channel. And on the main channel, on the community page, they mentioned that this series also involved Major Charles, Rev. Chris's twin(?) brother.

Still the BEST reaction ever. Thank you for this. A lot of people twisted the meaning of this into bad one. But you actually get the REAL meaning of it. BLACKPINK has been always powerful and encourages women to stand up on their own and be confident on their own. It's sad how people treat them. BTS and BLACKPINK raised the game. Again, thank you for this wonderful "commentary/reaction"
