@@swinerazor4075 I respectfully disagree. Black Pink's song is all about flipping the tables on people who wish to make your life worse. All of these Greek myths that they reference are of how mortals are constantly harassed by the Greek Pantheon as a whole. In these myths, these mortals either prevail over the harassment or they become very influential to the gods of the Greek pantheon. The mortals still won. (Even if some of them died in the end.)
@swinerazor40754 жыл бұрын
@@rainbowsherbet2325 I don't anything about this but during an interview someone asked Blackpink what they want to convey with the upcoming song. Jisoo said they want to spread positivity but song wise there's no positivity detected. Look at the lyrics. That signifies that they don't know what they're singing about. This girls are like dolled up puppets trapped in a patriarchal forces singing about anthemic songs that make no sense. Their company wants you to believe they are fighting for women's rights and singing about women empowerment but it's all about the marketing. I use to follow them too because I am also a feminist but I was struck with reality. No offense but the appeal is not about the music but music videos, fashion and how gorgeous these girls look. Let's be honest, it's never been too obvious. It's sad but unfortunately it's reality.

In the last scene where they’re wearing Hanbok there are also Trojan horses with a map of the world in the background. I’m not smart enough to know what the symbolism to that is but I know there’s something more meaningful there. Maybe cos they’re wearing Hanbok, Koreans have snuck into the eyes of the rest of the world through the Trojan horses and now everyone knows about South Korea (for example Kpop, Kdramas, the culture etc)

The Trojan horse could also be seen quite unassuming like the story goes which is why few years back, people weren’t even phased by South Korean culture. But now, we’ve got all these talented artists dominating the entertainment scene left and right (stream svt). KPOP was unassuming until they brought out the full force. The real deal.

The points brought on by Rev.Chris' sister, the classicist Victoria, were actually spot-on. In addition to those points, not only do I think that Blackpink is trying to get the haters to look in the mirror (not out of spite), however I also think this is sort of a signal by the girl group that they want to overcome negativity in general from all sources. Meaning, that includes their own company. Unlike many other girl groups, even in their rookie era, it took Blackpink unusually long to comeback (when in fact, they are from one of the largest Korean Entertainment companies). In a statistical comparison, many other girl groups have made comebacks within a couple of months, while Blackpink were and still are on peculiar hiatuses that span to entire years. With this music video, I think the girls were trying to convey how they were trapped, died and then resurrected (metaphorically and spiritually speaking). Initially in all sorts of dark places, they seemed lost and alone, but then they begin to shift with the seasons and transformed themselves accordingly into more powerful and confident selves. From a biblical perspective, I am referring to becoming one's true self, a person with godly character as God made us. And in this video, the girls were depicted as godly figures, in other words these girls changed up their game along with the change of scenery and thus became goddesses of their own reality. Blackpink, truthfully speaking, has a lot of genuine talent. These girls trained for a long time, and already displayed these talents even before they auditioned for their current company, and this is the objective truth. On that note, a specific flower can only truly flourish in a specific environment. We're all flowers in that sense (including Blackpink), and although surviving in a toxic environment is one thing, prospering in a truly loving environment is another matter of itself. Another point that this Blackpink music video was trying to express, is this: Do not become part of the problem, instead, add to the prosperity of not just your own life but everyone else's who truly wants to see this world change for the better as well (nearing the end, the girls were rallying together with all the dancers, displaying solidarity and determination to see a better world / make a better reality). My last entry of this comment, but definitely not the least important (I believe none of these points were), is that this video also serves as a major headline to all the women out there being abused, manipulated and pressured with unnecessary pain, turmoil and suffering. This sort of tragic and terrible tale mostly ends up with either more helpless victims, more fragile perpetrators (victims becoming the bullies), but also a significant portion of people that want to end such a cycle. Korea, with all its authentic beauty, is a clear representation of just the kind of problems that many other nations also carry. Poor treatment of their own people, both men and definitely women, for centuries prior to this current generation. With the discoveries made through recent years' worth of legal cases as well as heartbreaking deaths, Korea will need to question the way things have been operating, and this is a fate that no human nation can avoid. Nonetheless, like Rev.Chris said (and I believe it's a statement from Higher Power), this current generation is making more headway for the better world that we all deserve. To whoever read this far, a sincere thank you. P.s: PLEASE. BRING. VICTORIA, WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE SIBLING DYNAMIC :D

This is BlackPink!’ 뿐 아니라 잘안알아보고 떠들어댔던 lazy jennie(ㅋㅋ 이건 진짜 말도안되는 사건 최근 광고도 깁스한채로 찍었는데 영상몇개만찾아봐도 될것을), 최근 리사사건들... You Know? This is K-PoP, BlackPink!

@djpushplay4 жыл бұрын
Is there any way she could actually be on the video doing her analysis? Make this happen.

And the haters said the song is meaningless while the MV is just looking like their previous hit. But they didn’t dig the deep meaning of both the song and MV itself. They why everyone said jealous make u blind.
