Great footage. I see myself on a few of the clips at New street and Reading on one of your other videos. Used to spot with Andy Wilkinson, Andy Savage,Rob Lee from Toton. Looks like 1976 and 7.

The train that stopped outside New Street, that was me putting my head out the window. I lived close to Toton, I think we were on the one week rail tourer. We would get on at Attenborough to Derby to New Street then decide where to go from there.

In British rail 3 I was on the end of the platform when IKB and Robin Hood pulled out. Even without the video I remember the state of IKB plate.

Wondering if you are the original owner of the footage. I remember some of the scenes and can be seen in some of the New Street and Reading footage. I lived close to Toton yard. Moved to Canada in 77. Great memories.

@@steveswancott8876 Yes Steve, I filmed this and a few other videos on youtube between 1976 - 1980. I'm amazed you saw yourself, what are the chances. I would be interested to know which is you on the film, maybe we have met at some point. These memories seem to have melted into the distant past, thank goodness for cameras. David.
