As known, this footage is close to me, Alrx. My Darling Mary, always very close to my Heart ... Mary, still in a state of somewhat delirium (for now!). Positive thoughts, please. Rab ❤

Hello again, Alrx. I have just watched your latest upload: 'Rangers Walter Smith Funeral Cortège Passes Ibrox (For Verona). _Ava Maria_ sung by Amira 💙💚 (Peace)' The comments section was turned off, but I just want you to know how much I appreciated the video. Whatever the Scottish team, we are all, always, *Jock Tamson's Bairns* ... Stay well, Alrx. Bye for now. Rab 🥃😎 -------------------------------------------------------- *Jock Tamson's Bairns* [Credit: phrases org uk] 'We're all Jock Tamson's bairns' is a popular saying in Scotland, and indeed is known in other parts of the world. The Reverend John Thomson (Jock Tamson) was a much-loved minister of Duddingston Kirk, Edinburgh, from 1805 to 1840. He called the members of his congregation 'ma bairns' (my children) and this resulted in folk saying: 'We're all Jock Tamson's bairns' which gave a sense of belonging to a small but special group. Nowadays, the phrase is often used to indicate we're all the same under the skin. R 👋 🕊

Off-comment: My friend Andrew has posted this video, which I hope you may receive and appreciate: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pIWZdXWqarp-n7c Précis: Rail Relics, looking into the history of the forgotten railway past. From the industrial revolution until the present day, railways have been an important part of the United Kingdom's transport strategy. In this video we will be looking at a forgotten Railway Turntable, Engine Shed, Coal Stage and three Inspection Pits. Completed in 1885 for use by the Hull and Barnsley Railway Company, the engine shed, and turntable soon fell into light use. Due to the location, the need for the facility was short-lived, and by 1914 it wasn’t required, closing the same year. This video is our journey into discovering the former railway works and its hidden past buried in the leaves. We soon discover the coal stage and outdoor inspection pit, then soon after the intact brick surround for the railway turntable, the raised areas soon become apparent as rail beds. The Engine Shed is a little further and holds many clues to its former intact self. Please see the Hull and Barnsley Railway playlist here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGPHdJqwl9JlqK8 We have documented the entire 66 miles of the former railway. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All the best, as always, Alrx. Stay free. Rab 🕊
