Thank you for sharing this! I just found an old Seagull in amazing condition and paid $150 (US Dollars) for it. I remember being by myself as a 12 year old boy on Lough Erne in what must have been a row-boat powered by a Seagull. 40 years later, I may be able to recreate that memory - though a long way from N. Ireland! Your videos are most useful in understanding what to look for and how to bring it up to top condition.

Good work. General advice is if you hardly use your seagull keep it at 10:1 the engine will last longer.

I've suddenly become obsessed with these motors. It seems as if a 12 year old could rebuild one! That said, my father was a mechanic for many years, I'm sure he'd be willing to donate some helping hands.

I just bought my first seagull ,A 1957/58 century 100 . Im looking forward to embarking on the rebuild ! its a totally un molested engine ,that's calling out for a new lease of life
