She has more fault codes and factory settings that I'd like to clear or modify slightly to ensure smooth reliable and most importantly quiet running. My local dealer, the inlaws, state that she's out of warranty and therefore they are unable to advise. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. And yes the port is where you think it is 😂

Last time I worked on a car, it was a beautiful classic mini, halfway through the job, the car just blew up outta the blue. The owner was absolutely furious, outraged, I mean proper upset, could not calm the fella down. Right before leaving, he said only one thing and it'll stick with me for awhile. He said "You were only meant to blow the bloody doors off". Never saw that guy again, hope he's well, anyway that's why I need a Carly.

Carly Comp - As well as my gen 1 R8, that you have worked on many times, I am also in possession of a rare classic 1969 P Simpson. I am the now the 3rd owner and I was first introduced to this beauty when she was still in the possession of the previous owner. On the surface she was stunning. I acquired her in 2005 and made sure I kept the body work in immaculate condition, but as with most things, whilst stunning on the outside, it soon became clear that there were some potential issues under the bonnet. I have tried several diagnostic tests but always found it difficult to insert anything in to the OBD port. After a little lubrication of the port I was able to insert quite a few devices, even my own digits. On most occasions inserting things in to her OBD port really got her motor running, but none have managed to diagnose her fundamental issues, let alone resolve them. Carly will be my last chance and I would be interested to see what the carly smart mechanic thinks. If this doesn't work then I will have to divorce her and go on to wife number 3. Mind you, if she reads this, I think she will have made that choice for me already:)

Hi Ricky I really need a Carly because I'm a hopeless bellend trying to rebuild his life. I've managed to go from the streets to having a home and starting my plumbing and heating business again after a huge expense on registration fees. I have a fiat dickato for my work van and it's favourite hobby is when I'm in a hurry to decide to throw an engine warning light up and go into limp mode. Shouting at it doesn't seem to clear the faults nor does begging or just kicking the crap out of it. I have a toys r us scanner and at the side of the motorway a p code is really helpful when I can't reset it. Problem seems to be in fiats wisdom they put 2 dpf's on the exhaust. Manchester traiffic just seems to love blocking these and my scanner doesn't have a regen option so I'm left with the option of driving everywhere in second until it finally rolls coal on the que of traffic behind me.

So, the "half a second for not paying crash damage", that sounds like a deal. I'll use that for the end of the season: If we make it to the last three rounds, and we're in with a shout, no crash damage payments... As the owner of a bike, it's really difficult - you don't wan the bike damaged, but you also don't want the rider to be riidng slow - that's not why I built a race-bike... If I wanted slow, I could just ride it myself...

Frend of mine had problems with inductions on Mercedes when turning left indicated didn't work but the headlamps flashed and cars kept pulling out. I went to Mercedes main computer. They could not figure it out. In the end. I found it on the internet. It was the clocks you have to change for the indicators to work properly. A Carly would have helped me out. help me out. No ends
