@@Xhrisxian I don't think that's how it works. The demos are submitted for consideration but if the label doesn't use them or purchase rights to it, the producers and writers can do what they want with it.

@@Xhrisxian the only exception I could think of is that apparently many Femme Fatale demos were written at writing camps. So maybe Britney's label owns the rights to all the music written there if they funded the whole trip.
