The more I listen to this, the more sad I feel for her. While I was never in a conservatorship, I too was a victim of abusive relatives and peers as well as other people who were supposed to have my best interests in mind. Clearly they did not. I’m a doctor and I have a few mental illnesses, I am medicated and it doesn’t effect my job at all! I am a very good doctor I’ve been told by my head of medicine that I am one of his top ER doctors. Dementia is progressive and she’s been diagnosed for well over 10 years it would be very apparent by now if she did have it.
