@leavecowsalone3 жыл бұрын
@@Ancel7 everything you’re saying is wrong and harmful. There are plenty of psychiatrists doing great work, and some people are neurotypical and greatly benefit from the mechanisms of psychotropics. For instance, I have ADHD-I and because of adult diagnosis, went into adulthood without medication well into my twenties. Medication changed my life. I couldn’t for the life of me figure out why I fail to focus, have little conception of future planning (called executive dysfunction, known ADHD symptom), can never keep organized - not for failure of effort, and why I just generally felt like I was not reaching my potential/not functioning like my peers. I started medication and literally everything improved and I saw a noticeable jump within a WEEK of my LSAT practice exam scores. Many of the mistakes I made were jot for lack of understanding, but literally just not focusing and I saw major improvement right away. My brain is not wired typically and medication helps to compensate for my abnormally low production of dopamine. I never would have known or been treated for this if it weren’t for a compassionate and well trained psychiatrist. Focusing on the mind and body will not help, believe me, I tried before I knew what was actually going on with me. Drugs are money makers for companies, yes, but that has nothing to do with the fact that they can and DO help people. The issue here is corrupt medical professionals, lawyers and judges. There were people okay with breaking the rules and disregarding their oaths and training because they faired to benefit. It does nobody any good to demonize a legitimate medical profession.

Ive wondered if her father had been quietly & carefully planning something like this for a while & the perfect storm made it possible to enact. Or even if he helped orchestrate some or alot of the elements in that perfect storm. Cause he seemed to be able to move very quickly to gain control of her as if all of a bunch of carefully laid plains bore fruit so perfectly. Let's face it these conserverships over these entertainment professionals are not about keeping them healthy...it's about keeping the cash flow going. And these company's like Lou Taylor's realize that there is big money to be made running the estates without actually having to make money for the estate. They actually only work as money bleeders...not in there best interest to help someone get healthy and get out of a conservership. While the Court/laws goal is to try to help the person get the opportunity to regain control of their health and be able to function normally in society again. Michael Lohan is far from perfect, but Lindsey didn't have Britney money....so they would have drained her way sooner. And there is no way the court would have let Dina or Michael be appointed over her estate thereby letting them getting paid money like Jamie. So this was probably more of a financial decision than a 'I care about my daughter" decision. Sadly once a child starts making money in the entertainment business, the parents shouldn't be allowed access to it. Time after time, it's been proven that the money changes the whole family dynamic changes from parenting to managing. Managing the business model...not the child.

And the judges who kept co-signing for all of this to even be possible
@jaditelady173mary43 жыл бұрын
That would be nice to see happen, but once again Britney would have to finance a team of attorneys to do that. Plus Judges and attorneys rarely want to go against each other...if they want to get their cases heard in court. What will make a bigger impact is changing the laws around these conserverships...that way the courts have to obey the laws. New laws about not allowing family members be over the money. Laws ensuring that the individual has the right to their own attorney...that they can select themselves. Other issues that this case has brought forward. This is not the first time something like this has happened...so change is needed. My personal hope for Britney is that she gets out of this conservership and her attorney sets her up with an independent financial company like Bessimer Trust to help/advise her run the financial side...with her being the one to make the final decision on things. I hope she can find and get a counseling support system of her choosing. I really hope that she cuts off all the people who contributed to this abuse over the last 13 years. That includes the toxic family members. They will never change and will just continue to suck the life out of her. And finally, I want her to find some inner peace and make the life she wants to have....move away from the drama. Work when she wants and on her terms. Stop working when she wants. Concentrate on what makes her happy and not what makes others happy.
@elexis37283 жыл бұрын
@@jaditelady173mary4 laws def need to be changed. If Britney really is healthy and able to take care of her own affairs, she would be the perfect voice to help fight for that cause. I think it would be really, really good for her too. A purpose that isn't just a "work horse". In the back of my mind I sometimes can't help but wonder if she would be OK without a conservative in place. Maybe she just needs a different team who she can trust and a system that sets up better guidelines for people in that situation. Considering we, the public, doesn't know every thing about her mental health it could be careless of us to blindly say she is totally fine to be the one and only person in her life to make big decisions. Could you imagine how awful all these people who love Britney would feel if something bad happened to or with her after they had publicly been demanding the conservativeship be dropped, God forbid!? I am in no way saying it shouldn't be changed or even dropped because it is very clear that there is plenty of things wrong with the way she has been made to live for a long time, I just wonder if there really is a need for someone neutral to help her navigate things the best way possible. That's all.

But as deepdive did mention in their vid we have to thank NYT in a way because they brought in new/ casual people from the mainstream media and people finally saw what the media did to britney in the past and what her current status is currently. I m quite glad that deepdive acknowledged them because the doc received "hate" by some people from the movement right after it came out which was unfair i think.The NYT doc might not have been perfect and maybe it can be considered poor in some parts but it brought the free britney movement to the next level imo.

What I find sad also, is I think Britney is at the point where she doesn't care if all her money is lost. In fact I think she welcomes it. I feel that's why she's going the route of hiring the most expensive representation she can find, because if they can't get her free of her family, then maybe the money drying up will, and this is also why she's refusing to work. If that doesn't prove how damaging this conservatorship is, that someone is at the point of consciously deciding to be flat broke with no active career, rather than have it continue, I don't know what does. She's literally choosing to have nothing, than be controlled to have it all (financial wise ofc). Freedom shouldn't have a cost, but sadly, it seems like those who seek it, will always pay the most 😔
