I apologise for not covering more of the book, I had at least 15 more minutes worth of footage recored but I'd completely ran out of the space to edit the rest on my old-ass laptop. Oops. I will clear my storage ASAP (I'm low-key a digital hoarder 😂)

He dumped her to boost his solo music career. He made his album around a storyline how he was wronged. I read the book in 4 hours, I had to take a break when it started getting into her meltdown. So disgusting how she was treated by her family, relationship, the people around her and the press.

After hearing this information about Justin, it's clear that Britney really loved him. However, he didn't love her the same. He used her. I don't respect him at all. He's a little twerp. I'm sure he's cheated on his wife, Jessica. Why would he change? Britney has every right to discuss her toxic relationships. She's healing. People who say get over it are insensitive and toxic. Real friends help you through your pain.

Spears' shocking story about her physical *AND* mental mistreatment by everyone close to her--including her parents!--just bothers me to no end. 😒😑🙄 Indeed, this story just makes you admire Taylor Alison Swift to no end. Between her supportive parents and Swift cultivating friendships with all the right people, no wonder she was able to withstand abuse from Kanye West (not once but twice!) and the Scooter Braun fiasco. I really begin to wonder was Swift's success with the _Reputation_ album from 2017 to fight back against that ugly situation with West and Kim Kardashian inspired Spears to fight to get her life back together.

You have to remember the terms "wife" and mother of your children meant only dollar signs to him. He was with another woman who was pregnant with their second child when he left her to ride Britney's fame and fortune. Everyone in this girl's life saw her only as dollar signs and didn't care one bit about what her dreams were. For me, this book really drove home that on this planet, it’s the genuinely kind/nice people (God have mercy if you’re pretty and/or successful too) who will be repeatedly used, abused and discarded. Those ppl will then either mirror and perpetuate the same hate to the world, or they will stay kind/nice *despite the hate* and ultimately find true reckoning and happiness. Like Britney quotes Rumi, life’s true blessings are in the pain/sorrow/hurt/trauma bc that’s the path to gratitude, empathy and enlightenment. We can all see Britney has embraced realized this and is becoming stronger and better right before our eyes. And honestly, right now, nothing could warm my heart more than to see her soar. She is so deserving of happiness. Britney is an inspiration to all women.

I can relate to parts of her life. I'm from the same general area as she is and I know how a toxic Southern family can be. They can expose you to so much toxic behavior that you end up with CPTSD and constant neverending anxiety and then they put you in a hospital (been there!) and then they create a narrative that you are the crazy one. What Kevin Federline said (I would never do anything like that) reminds me of how certain gaslighters told me the exact same line! It's not a sign of intelligence if they can't manipulate any better than that.

My sister was literally taken into a 5150 hold because she was pregnant and couldn’t eat food. She kept vomiting and was so sick. She went to the doctor and he shamed her for it. That was it. They put her in a hospital without her consent. They said she was harming her child. She hid her phone and called me. We spoke without them knowing and I told me parents. There was nothing we could do that night to help her. They found her phone and I was cut off from her for hours. First thing in the morning my dad went there and got her out. It was so traumatic.

Yup, K fed was feeding himself back then. He even got a part on CSI. Next thing you knew. He wanted to be a rapper. MadTv had material for days. Unfortunately, Britney was made fun of on that show as well. I never understood why Kfed didn't just teach hip hop dancing for folks wanting to become back up dancer's like had been for some big name artists instead. He just want to spend her money and flex on her money. He stopped working to get backup dance gigs and just partied in Vagas, taking pictures with dancers. It was not a good time or good look.

I live an hour away from kentwood, her fam better count their mf days (THIS IS A JOKE). Srsly tho i recommend everyone to read this book or listen to the audiobook if you can afford it. Britney is endlessly full of love, compassion, beauty & grace and we are lucky she is still here after all of that. She is really a special human being in so many ways and I hope she has a better rest of her life and can live to the fullest & enjoy the rewards of her success and hard work. All the men in her life have been absolute disgraces. I cannot understand how you could be dating or married to an amazing woman like her and be such an absolute gross idiot. I find it inspiring that she still believes in love after everything done wrong to her. That takes an immense amount of perseverance. My previous comment with this got deleted so ill censor it but as wendy williams said, "DE*TH TO ALL OF THEM!"

It's funny how JL defensively rags about how she's always earned her own money yet started working again when the conservatorship was ending. She literally did nothing aside from her disaster of an attempt at a country music career at one point in the 2010's... probably on Britney's dime.

thats the thing. Her family - especially her father made sure she have no friends she can trust. Even if she had, she's under extreme security and rules (threaten to now see her children gain if she ever act up). They all made sure she was isolated so the "Britney is crazy brand" won't fail. Even Paris Hilton tried and that's someone from a powerful background.

I'm not victim blaming. It is clear she needed a man and she was a pick me. I really hope she has learned to love herself. Her dad did her dirty. Dad issues are horrible. I hope she's a good mom and teaches her boys to be good men who care for others and aren't just opportunists like their idiot father. May this woman heal.

I think it’s a great reason to ditch all things celebrity & consumerism. The majority of these people rolling in the money due to everyone going gaga over their shit…are actual shit. I don’t think there’s ever going to be a time in human history where a select few can profit over a majority, while the world burns, that those individuals will ever be decent humans, as a majority themselves.

It is because the book in the uk is a different book from the one in the us. Same amount of pages, except y'all have the book that has black edges and says britney in pink, we have white pages with a rose on the front in the us. They also have 2 completely different isbn numbers and so therefore they are 2 completely different books. That is why they're on the list twice. It's sold out everywhere. Had i known earlier i would have gotten 2 already.

When NSYNC was on Ellen in 2018 that’s when everyone found out he cheated on Brit. It was the only time I was for her trying to humiliate another narcissist. They were playing never have I ever & she asked never have I ever hooked up with a fan & never have I ever hooked up with a spice girl I think was the other one. As soon as he put up "have" I was going "I knew it!" but no one gave a sh!t until Brits book came out. So infuriating! God this is gonna age me but back when Timberlake started his solo career it wasn’t really going that well. I mean yes his debut album was selling but not like NSYNC was selling. This delusional a**hole really expected to be the Michael Jackson of his generation or something. It didn’t really start selling until the cry me a river video came out. He also said that Wade & Brit slept together. So back then I was huge fan of NSYNC including Timberlake & Spears, still am of both, but that whole "she cheated on me" never sat right with me. Honestly at that point if NSYNC never got back together I would be ok with that. Actually I’m fine with them not doing a reunion tour even now.

I can't believe I'm saying this. Especially because I can't stand Jaime. But honestly, I kinda think Jaime Lynn might be more resentful of Britney than anything. Being the youngest sibling, that was in Brit's shadow def couldn't have been easy. I mean c'mon it's fuckinggg Britney! And, I'm sure their psycho father played them against each other & probably got fed a shit ton of lies. Jaime needs to let go of it. It's the only way that the 2 of them can move on.

I don't know how a sibling relationship would get that toxic without the parents playing favourites when they were growing up.
