I think that for whatever reason she had an image in the media that she’s a good church girl. That’s why other women who dress provocatively get a pass because they’re expected to dress that way. Britney was not fit some reason. That’s what I think at least. I mean has no one seen One More Time where she dresses like a school girl but in a way that would not pass the school dress code if that makes sense. What about that says “good church girl?”

I don't think it should be possible for parents to put their kids into entertainment. I think the moment a kid does entertainment, there should be an independent team taking care of them that has to report to authorities and that the parents have no control over. @@laramorrison5973 What did he do or say during this interview that made him sound “so rude”? Some people in this clip were rude or making inappropriate comments, he just wasn’t one of them. Plus; it was a valid question as Pepsi has had over 20 different types through the years. Was it another interview she had done with him? That’s a serious question, as this was his first mention of Pepsi in this interview. Then she seemed to get rude with him for asking as basic questions (the Pepsi guy) . I would have asked a Pepsi question as well if I interviewed her days after she was at risk of being sued for millions of dollars for violating her contract with Pepsi, and was fired a couple of weeks after. Though they used other words than “fired” obviously Beyond that you could tell she didn’t want to be there from the get go, because she couldn’t even be bothered to spit out her gum for this interview which is something she would have been trained to do during media training. I have seen the entire thing and frankly she was the one behaving as such beginning to end. Every response was unnecessarily sarcastic, with eye rolling and squinting or loud chewing to serve as an interruption. She did the same thing in Mexico and acted out to the people and the press to the point where she ended up canceling her last show as people demanded refunds anyways. She got rude with a GAY MALE writing a fashion segment on her looks of Mexico; opting to make a comment that he could stare at her ass when she could walk away instead. Apparently wanting to see her outfit and know who the designer was, is rude as well? I understand her frustration, I just feel she often took it out on the wrong people. I can say that as I have personally witnessed it over 20 years ago. I love Britney, don’t get me wrong but there have definitely been times she isn’t or wasn’t the most polite as there are for all of us. Britney fans just refuse to admit or accept that she hasn’t always been perfect and isn’t to this day. I remember seeing her be rude to FANS before a show at the height of her fame (Dream Within a Dream tour day opening in Ohio in early November 2001). In fact her voice when speaking didn’t even sound recognizable and the only time she sounded or spoke like the sweet Britney we knew; was when there was a visible camera recording. I specifically remember multiple children leaving in tears as others who actually understood were angry. A few years later I had backstage passes to the Striped/Justified tour (in 2003 in OKC) and remember being shocked at the behavior of America’s Sweetheart, in comparison to a woman made out to be a nightmare to the media. After meeting Britney I was so upset and hurt simply because I was a little girl that didn’t understand; and her behavior scarred me. I refused to listen to her music or support her in any way and was also scared to meet another idol out of fear it would be the same. That didn’t change until her public fall from grace in 2007. As the world began to hate her, I finally began to respect for actually being herself. She wasn’t that well put together; sweet; southern belle by choice but because it was her character. I would have preferred she be authentic to herself anyway! The meet and greet with Christina, made me realize it was just a bad experience and I wouldn’t always feel let down. Christina didn’t say a single rude thing to anyone, didn’t tell anyone to hurry up or move faster, but instead acted so happy and excited to meet everyone. Plus she stayed an HOUR LATE, after just doing a 2 hour show so she could make sure every one had individualized time with her(her meet n greet wasn’t before for some reason which was new for me.) She even ignored security and her management saying it was time to go, REPEATEDLY. So my point with that rambling, is that people aren’t perfect. If they did something not so great we need to stop pretending it is fine of justifying the actions because of who they are. I mean she could have been tired or stressed. Maybe she was annoyed that numerous interviewers asked about Pepsi, does that make it okay to be rude to one though? I don’t really think so. You also have to remember this was her LAST full promotional tour before she was placed in that abusive conservatorship. So she was probably already struggling here. Struggling and making mistakes is fine. Refusing to accept those mistakes, or in your case justification of the actions; is not. You can’t learn from or move on from a situation if you never even acknowledge the problem. If he was actually rude in this interview, maybe it warranted it. He just wasn’t. Now other interviewers in this clip were absolutely out of line, yet she still showed them respect. I mean is asking about Pepsi really worse than being asked about your breast? Come on now!

@@katmills3978I'm not reading all of that but you can watch the interview yourself, I don't care to watch it again, he was trying to make her look bad and was so condescending the entire interview. This is a tiny clip from the interview. Singers were being banned from discussing Bush on the radio e.g. Madonna and dixoe chicks then and he started asking her about the Iraq war and questions completely unrelated to her career. She had just been taken off a radio ban and so didn't want to say anything bad. He then asked if her mom was ok with her kissing Madonna etc. She was clearly fed up with him and didn't want to talk anymore and rightfully so. Tucker Carlson is a horrible person as well.
@robertnolan31392 жыл бұрын
@@katmills3978 the first thing he did in the interview was show her a picture in a magazine where Britney is walking out of a restaurant with her hands on her stomach captioned "Britney's Belly Busting Lunch". He asked what her mom thought about her kiss with Madonna that was recent at the time of the interview, and her changed image changed from her mickey mouse club days - most people have a different image at 21 than at 12. I think anyone would get rude with him at that point.... And after the interview he said: "she seemed very young. Younger than a person who would bear her midriff. I mean the impression I came away with was that it would be wrong to have adult thoughts about Britney Spears. She may be 21 but she seems, again, young."

To be fair, I have watched Henry Cavill interviewed in shows and some of them are really inappropriate. Trust me, these people in the industry does these things to celebrities male or female, perhaps on a different scale but they do. Perhaps because he's a man, people seemed to think its okay to talk about weird topics or perhaps they think its cute if female interviewers does that or maybe touch him a little. Trust me, men can get uncomfortable too. That for me, regardless of gender, is sexual harassment.
