Believe this is a Frankie B coat. Had one very similar during the time and I purchased it at Patricia Field in NYC (the costume designer for sex and the city, Brits favorite TV show at the time)

I noticed how she said the word fame. Wow. She just wanted to live a normal life and not be famous. Just Perform for the people. For us fans. Wow. And I also noticed when she said she wanted to do a movie a teen movie with whole lot of drama and where people cry and laugh. Wow. She was predicted the movie crossroads she shot March 2001. So I wonder if she had that movie role in mind here. Cuz this was November 2000 and she started shooting crossroads March 2001. Hmmmm. Was she already hinting she was gonna do a movie crossroads?? 🤓🤔🧐😱

The pre-production period of a film typically lasts a year and in some cases a bit more. So, yes, it is highly likely Crossroads was already gearing up for filming at that time. Scripts typically take months to compose and often go through many edits and approvals. Location scouting may take weeks as the exact places and scenery need to be determined. Sets for indoor scenes must be built/decorated and then there are the contract negotiations for actors, producers and the director which have to be legally ironed out. She for sure seemed to be hinting at it because many film contracts contain clauses preventing those involved from speaking specifically about the details of a film before it has wrapped. That is at least how things were when I worked in the industry.
