smitchix1 Very well said. That’s what I loved about this era of music. Granted every era has its originators then ones following on the coattails and then the ones just being fake as fuck. Such a fun time being in a band or just being a fan. Music today doesn’t have it. More depressing than anything so not really sure what the draw is. I feel that’s it’s anger approached despite of the lyric content.

You got a good point, especially when you read this taken from Wikipedia about Cinderella: "Cinderella was formed in Philadelphia in 1982 by singer-songwriter, keyboardist, and guitarist Tom Keifer and bassist Eric Brittingham. The initial lineup also included guitarist Michael Smerick and drummer Tony Destra. In 1985, Smerick and Destra left to form Britny Fox, another Philadelphia-based glam metal band that later relocated to Los Angeles". I think both bands are great tough.

I saw them live in '89, and it didn't sound this good because of the way it was mixed, which is unfortunate, because as one can see from this performance, they were quite good. Take away the hair and all that and what you have is really good, kickass rock and roll. Great guitar solo. I miss the 90s and early 00s, but I have to say that the 80s were quite the time for rock music of all types -- hard rock, metal, alt-rock, there was something for everybody and it was a fun decade for the most part.
