This is an original. They sent a request to their fans asking them to submit short videos that they might select from to include in this music video. You also see that some celebrities replied and were included. I love the last bit where they are on the pier having the time of their lives with their fans. Catchy song and so much fun! Yes, you did see some celebrities both on television and here on KZbin. The "extras" are their patrons (also listed at the end). They put the call out to their patrons and fans who showed up at the pier to help with the video as well as sending in clips to be included in the video. Word had it that they were surprised at some of the celebrities who sent them clips. Maisie Williams (Arya Stark on Game of Thrones) is a big fan and has also been on two episodes of "Superfruit" with Scott and Mitch.

for this video, PTX put the word out to all their supporters/fans that they were going to do the video and wanted their supporters to come out and be in it as well as send in some video clips of them lip synching the song to use in the video. needless to say they came out in droves especially at the end of the video. Interestingly enough the clip submissions were made by a few well known people...Maisie Williams being on of them as she is a huge fan and she has appeared in a couple videos with Superfruit (Scott and Mitch's side project). Maybe the song you're thinking of is 'Shout', by Otis Day and the Knights, which I believe was featured in that old National Lampoon movie with James Belushi. This song definitely borrows a lot of its sound from it (we'll call it homage) especially with the line "a little bit louder now.."

LOL Love the Happy Days intro guys hahaha that's awesome :-). And love you doing this particular song of Pentatonix! Absolutely one of my favorites. It really showcases some different vocal nuance from each member, especially Scott in the intro. Avi and Mitch really work the high and low harmonies well and Kirsten has a magical floating line that entwines between the three. Gives it a very unique color. Kevin's rapping, and beatboxing are on point, as always, the man is a beast. Excellent choice, hope you're both doing awesome, keep up the good work. I may be absent for another 3-4 week here as we're going to be moving so going to have my hands full with that I think. Catch up with you later though. Daniel

@@BritPopsReact Moving to Nanton, Alberta LOL. Smaller town south of Calgary. Mom's going to be retiring in a couple years and wanted to get a place in a smaller community. So we found a reasonably priced house that has everything we need, and since she's getting a bit long in the tooth, I'm going to move in with her just to be a bit closer in case an emergency pops up. Has a nice, complete basement suite so she has her space and I'll have mine, but it'll be nice to see her more often for sure.

I have to comment here on the YooToobs because I forgot something before... if you really want to hear Kirstie's Disney voice, you really, really, REALLY have to do their cover of Elton John's 'Can You Feel The Love Tonight?' They all absolutely shine in that. It's always hard to narrow down a top five list for my favourite PTX songs, but that one is a no brainer. This is definitely one of my fave reactions from you two!
