I lived in the UK for 8 years, and it doesn't surprise me that people go crazy when they land in Spain, imagine that you work from morning to evening like an ant in a rainy country, where there are CCTV cameras on every corner, in Krakow, Poland, some restaurants posted "No Entry for Brits" signs, but not all of them :) I experienced injustice many times when I lived in the UK, but now that I'm back home I look at the Brits with more sympathy :) I guess hard times are coming for all of us, and after all, we are only human...Greetings from Gdańsk, Poland

Krakow is one of the most friendly cities I’ve ever visited - absolutely loved the place and suffered zero discrimination. Visited the salt mine - absolutely stunning!!!! Krakow is a beautiful City, I visited before the whole "Cheapo Eastern European Stag Do" trend caught on, so never saw any Brits not welcome signs (though I can appreciate why bar owners would say it). Having also visited Poland for a friend's wedding, I can attest that the Polish lads do love a ruck after a bunch of Vodka though........ I was approached by a guy at the wedding because I was probably the biggest English guy there, and with no animosity at all I was challenged to fight. I politely refused though, although that didn't seem to be the done thing and it pissed off what had been a fairly friendly dude up to that point! Is that some sort of a tradition or was he just a drunk idiot?

The thing is, this is a small part of Benidorm. I was in the "you can't pay me" crowd until I went last year. We stayed in a small town about an hour away and we did a day trip to Benidorm to have a look around - the majority of the seafront was family friendly and pretty quiet. The beach is really nice. If you're not up for the hen and stag mayhem, it's easy to avoid. That's not my scene at all and we just didn't go to that area. Benidorm exceeded my expectations, I was prepared for it to be a dump based on the reputation, but it's a decent place.

People often comment on Benidorm, likely not helped by a certain tv show lol, but there are so many places just like Benidorm that people use for cheap holidays. You take the rough with the smooth. Benidorm has often been a good place for cheap, family affordable holidays long before the new town became as popular as it is now, go at certain times of the year and as you stated, it’s much quieter, more pleasant, I know they have a theme or water park too. I’d happily go, I’d likely stay in the old part and venture to the new town for a few evenings out for fun, but my drinking days are over 🤣 so I’d just go to people watch, for the entertainment and maybe a nice drink on the beach! It won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but you can’t please everyone!

I watched your video from early this year in Benidorm and i met up with the guys from Project 4 all, they help people around the Benidorm and north Costa Blanca. We had a great meeting and i'm hoping to meet up again soon with another special gift. I live about an hour from Benidorm and it really is a crazy place, however pick the hotel and area you stay in and its beautiful. Personally, when we go away for a weekend break we jump on a flight to Ibiza "very cheap flights" and party over there. Yes its a bit more expensive but less crazy. Anyone going to Benidorm over the next few months please try and help the people there that need your help and throw a few euro's into a collection box or maybe if you see someone on the street that looks like they need some help, give them a few euro's. To you it's just another beer or kebab but to them it can be a life saver. You would be very surprised how many people sleep rough there, I live in Spain and I was shocked. Or go to FB and follow Project 4 all and send them a few quid, what those guys do is incredible.
