It seems government and councils aren't spending the money in where it's needed. Seems to be a loss of community.

The "import the third world, become the third world" is around the high levels of litter, crime, sexual assault you see that are more widespread in poorer third world countries. Also the cultural shift in the shops, places of worship etc. It's obviously not everyone but it's no coincidence, areas of high immigration from the third world have gone downhill. The north and seaside town decline is a different root cause though.

Many of the "homeless charitirs" are businesses. CEO'S make piles of cash, and andy is right, homelessnees is profitable for them. It's the same in the States, honestly. What makes me annoyed is the tho8sands of "refugees" who get hotels and cash benefits while veterans and citizens fall through the cracks. Its masness. It's really infuriating to me.

Life is what you make it. Its up to us to make Slough a place you want to live. Stop with all the negativity and prejudice outlook. People are People. It's the ppl at the top that are messing us about. There's stuff we can whinge about or stuff we could be grateful about. Ultimately if we reach out to each other and start with our neighbours and community and lift ourselves onto a better plane then we'll survive what the big bad boys are doing to us from behind their desks. I haven't had trouble or pain from anywhere else and I've been in Slough since 1997. We can stop with our superiority complex cuz we have little to boast about. We have parking machines that are legally unlawful designed to Rob you. Why create a machine that doesn't give change? Expecting ppl with disabilities to do a full shop in 1 or 2 hours. And giving them a parking fine for not moving fast enough. I dream of a community where we start supporting eachother and lessen anxiety, fear and depression. Start with the garden for example, we get together and create a gardening committee, everyone signs up, donates a minimum amount each month, and every month one of us gets chosen, then we get together and use funds to make someone's garden beautiful. We have a communal area where we grow produce and anyone can take some home, kinda thing 😊 So let's start smiling at eachother. Everyone has got something good to bring to the table. Foreigners, 3rd worlders, are supplying us with all kinds we need, it's not their fault all our main shops have disappeared. It would be interesting to see what we would be left with if all your foreigners took their business elsewhere. If you want the World to be a better place, start with yourself, put your best foot forward. Let your head rest so you don't get dementia from the overload and start using your heart. Emit generous healing energy and it'll attract the same back at ya. Respect and equality. Ain't rocket science.

The issues you highlight are not unique to Great Yarmouth. IMO Yarmouth has done well to resist the decline we’ve seen all around the UK’s seaside towns. My fear is there’s worse to come. My question is, what’s to become to all these amazing Victorian buildings, our country’s assets we have? Allow such towns as Yarmouth to become so decayed, it needs demolished. Then…? It’s disgusting. It really is.

This is a terrible representation of Stoke as a whole. Yes Hanley is really bad now, easily the worst part of Stoke, anywhere else in the city is instantly better than this and a more accurate representation.
