I smile every time I watch you folks on your adventures. Clearly you are loving your journey. A lot of people think of a Australia as a bit of a backwater full of kangaroos and koalas. As you have found it is a lot more than that. Even up where you folks are it is fairly multicultural community with lots to see and do. Hope you are handling the heat okay - going to get a bit warmer yet and probably a few more storms - hopefully no cyclones. Boost juice is an Australian company. You guys and Pico have taken to this life like a duck to water especially living on the coast. My favorite coastal spots are Gladstone, Makay and Cairns. Cardwell is also a lovely spot to visit.

I think Westfield Chermside and Pacific fair Broadbeach waters are much larger. Ive been in that shopping centre because my sister lives 5 mins away. They're pumping all year round. Also in summer people go to escape the heat and the big supermarkets are always there so people food shop.

Sunshine plaza is always quite busy. I have been many times on random days and it has always been busy. It’s a really popular shopping spot for the Sunshine Coast because you’ve got everything together there.

Melbourne has the best pizzas in the world. If the pizza maker who gave you that pizza has an Italian name he may be the one who won the world's best pizza in an international competition in Rome. He has 4 or 5 shops in Melbourne. He only uses the best ingredients which he imports from Italy.

Long before Sunshine Plaza was built that waterway through the centre was less than a metre deep at low tide. I used to be catch half a dozen mud crabs there in about 2 hours.

Lookup Westfield North Lakes 40 minutes drive from Sunny Coast and then around another 10 km down the road Westfield Chermside, big and busy.

I went there a few years ago and couldn't work out how to get in! All the entrances from the south car park are ground floor parking, I had to walk around the side to the riverside.

Personally the Sunshine Plaza is my favourite shopping centre that I've been to in Australia. Even when it gets busy you can find somewhere to be by the water or see natural light. I admit it has been years since I've been and I know its been expanded a lot. Be careful especially around school holidays because it can get overwhelming. Would be interesting to see how much bigger the Plaza and Chermside are now because both have been expanded since my last visit.

Because they do a lot more then just sell things and food they generally do okay and yes they are very busy most of the time. People go out to the big shops for a day out.

Most of the up market places have a fancey section, I live in Canberra, we have a place called the Kingston Foreshore, expensive apartments with a huge array of restaurants underneath, right on the lake, they have retro boats that take people out and serve food and stuff.

Westfield Parramatta in Sydney is several stories high and several city blocks in length it's huge, and Melbourne has Chadstone. Bigger than what you would find in the UK . The Queensland ones are small compared to Sydney and Melbourne
