Every land owner is expected to control the amount of fuel loading on their land to prevent uncontrollable bush fires. You will see these controlled burns everywhere around Australia this time of year before summer. The burns are conducted often at night when the wind dies down or when humidity becomes high in other parts so that there is less risk of having to extinguish the fire to control it. The further north you go in Australia, the less you see the real dense eucalypt forests so often in far northern Australia, this fire can burn uncontrolled as they just burn the undergrowth and fallen branches from only the previous year. The Australian ecosystem is used to fire and the plants and grass will start growing back almost immediately after the fire has been through.

That shop did not cook the bread properly. It was either under proofed or over proofed before cooking. If over proofed it deflates after and is pale when cooked. Also seems it was under cooked. I ran a Subway for 10 years and our shop had a high reputation for being the best in Brisbane.

You need to get a screen for the windshield to cut down the sun heating up the car seats, especially for the summer.

Yep. Your backsides will thank you. It only gets hotter and the "ooo ouchies" only turn to "OH MY GOD" second degree burns.

You got it, quote from Queensland Fire Department: "There was a hazard reduction burn at the intersection of Yandina Coolum Road and Quanda Road in Coolum Beach, Queensland on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The Queensland Fire Department reported that the fire was under control and smoke was affecting the area." Controlled burns are quite common this time of year, just before the real bushfire season sets in in summer.

Leg presses are probably harder as you have longer legs and need mover leverage and might have slow twitching led muscles. Fast twitching muscles create more power as slow twitching muscles are better at endurance. Fast twitching is good for say sprinters and slow twitching is more for long distance running.

You could tell it wasn't strong enough by the way they didn't recoil when tasting. Viet coffee = strong strong coffee plus some scm.

Just a note about your observations on the cafe culture. We absolutely do have the best cafes, and you can see that in the Australian cafes that have been popping up in London, Paris, New York etc, but I feel like you're probably seeing a lot of people holidaying on the Sunshine Coast. Here in the Eastern States it's more unusual to see people sitting in cafes in the mid-morning, unless they're working or are students.
