I guess a work around against the alarm clock issue: put your alarm clock as far away from your bed as you can in your room, so you have to really get up to reach it and turn it off, works for me
@kcchan85073 жыл бұрын
I remember I had mosquito net when I was a student in Taiwan. I put my alarm clock outside of it so that I need to lift it up before I can turn it off. It worked fine except one I was so disturbed that I reached my hand to the clock straight away and made thru a hole directly to turn it off. I was not aware of it until I woke up

Huge survivorship bias of the survey, Susie. People who took the survey are more likely to be the ones who don’t do exercises but wasting time on the internet while eating junk food - they complain about things without looking at themselves in the mirror, while others never talk but live a disciplined, healthy, happy life. :)

Ever heard of monotone is the worst for any presentation? You just proved it wrong LOL I find that soothing somehow when you're talking even when you don't have all those "ups and downs" all the presenters claim one should have. Do you think that's because of the british accent or just your natural voice frequency? I think that would be an interesting thing to find out, perhaps a future video material hahhaha

I think not just citizens in Great Britain/UK have these bad habits, but also around the world, which are commonly seen. For me, stressing about things is my most bad habit of all, due to slight autism and think/plan carefully before taking action, which affects my social skills. So I had to see the psychologist/therapist since this May, to improve it. And it goes well until this month, that I am feeling relaxed and not too stress time after time.😄

Agree on swearing and eating especially sweet stuff. Regarding procrastination, you should add 20 years to your estimated age of ppl who may not procrastinate (like over 60). Young ppl’s view of older generation starts at 40 and above. Totally understandable.

Those top 10 also apply to other country I though.... for exercise, maybe the people in uk already get enough exercise by tidying up the garden . For procrastinating : well, the only thing you can procrastinate are the thing that it is not necessary or urgent to do it , you don’t want to do it , but somehow you better to do it. For old generations or old people, if the stuff is not necessary maybe they don’t put any effort in it. So they have nothing to “procrastinate”

Hi Suzie, I am in the middle of this video, and I can't wait to message you. I am glad that you have listened my comment that you speak English more often in your videos and you are so smart introducing your English speaking as a listening exercise here. In addition, I have learned some very useful phrases/speaking skills here which will avoid me from being embarrassed when sharing your video (see below) to someone who kept saying your video is wrong with no ground. Instead of telling her that I just watched that video and I had not researched yet, I should use your statement and attitude: 'I don't know, I have to research that.' and move on (period). I was a bit upset when she said you were wrong without knowing you, watching your video and providing any explanations.
