If they were shown shaded in on a map of the US it would be so much easier. Showing only the individual outline and no scaling clues is tougher. Nice job!

You did great. I went to school when in more than one year we had to identify the states by their shapes, and then later we had to draw detailed maps with longitude and latitude lines, getting the placements correct. (Of course, that was nothing to the world map we had to draw in 8th grade. I got an A on mine. I think I did at least a B+ job but Mr Nye lost my nap and knowing I was a good student, he threw an A in his grade book for me. :)
