UK food is like taco bell how they just figure out different ways to combine the same 5 ingredients 😂

i used to want that so bad as a kid i remember seeing kids eat that in movies and wanting to try it but my mom never made straight up tomato soup i only got to try it like once or twice in elementary when they randomly served it in the cafeteria

Grilled cheese and tomato soup has been done in America for years. Grilled ham and cheese with tomato is always good as well.

Aiden was right the second time. He lives in the UK, but his last name is Fandelli, he's definitely Italian originally. That second sandwich is something I'm gonna have to re-create myself, because I wasn't even hungry...and it was making my mouth water.

My husband and I lived in Oslo for three years and we flew to London at least four times per year to have good tasting food! People tried to tell us English food is not good. I promise, it is much better than constant forms of pickled herring, lutefisk (spoiled cod) or aurarot (spelling?) spoiled trout. The lamb was good but expensive. We enjoyed English food every time we went.

Borough Market, London has the best street food i ever tasted when I visited. Beats most places in Europe.

When my Husband makes baked potatoes, he puts garlic powder on the outside before he bakes them. Then after he cuts them open and puts butter, garlic salt and lots of shredded cheese. Then back into the oven for about 5 minutes. More butter and garlic salt then dinner time. Soooo good.

Try frying some bologna or salami for your grilled cheese. Dip in tomato soup and it's fantastic.

Only thing I’d eat is fish and chips without the tartar sauce. I love what you guys call jacket potato (baked potato) with cheese, sour cream, bacon bits is the best. I don’t like pastries filled with anything.

you'll change one little thing and it will become 'american'. that's how the empire rolls. it will be corporatized, the origins will be erased and you'll all chant USA#1! we invented it!

@@gracemercy2159 cured pork loin bacon is what you'd call canadian bacon, it's called back bacon in canada. during the wars canada would ship cured pork loins coated in pea meal (to help preserve it) to the uk. pea meal bacon is still a thing in canada. we have cured and smoked pork belly bacon too obviously.

The best cheese toastie (grilled cheese in American) I’ve had in London was definitely from the Kappacasein Dairy stand in Borough Market Raclette cheese with leeks… Really simple but incredible

Anyone that says Brits don't know how to cook is smoking crack. The only thing I would change is, no black pudding in that Belly Buster sandwich. That freaking fish sounded so crispy! That bright orange yolk is called not putting all kinds of chemicals in your damn chicken like we do. Y'all, all that looked so dang good!

@blackberrythorns4 ай бұрын
newsflash, all "american" food came from somewhere else. the majority of "british" food came from somewhere else too unless you're identifying as a neanderthal roasting meat and boiling wild plants. battered deep fried food came from portugal, 'chips' came from belgium. the list is endless but then anatolian farmers migrated every direction 7500 yrs. ago and then yamnaya (indo-iranian speakers with domesticated horses) spread off the pontic-caspian steppe 5000 yrs. ago. everything is building on something before it.

@@pacmanc8103 your 'exceptionalism' is absolutely absurd. the majority of the citizens can't find your country on a map let alone accurately naming a continent. what is uniquely "american"? even the first thanksgiving in the new world wasn't celebrated in "america", despite your mythology.

@@blackberrythorns Exceptionalism? Where exactly? You’ve clearly memorized a word and have been aching to use it. The majority of whose citizens couldn’t find the United States on a map or, even better, a globe? Our Canadian cousins? It is oh so apparent that the Canuck has something stuck in his craw. Thanksgiving? Seriously?😂
