They did the set /lighting as an homage to the black cover of the original album. Yes, that strange noise was Layne. Now you must go back and listen to Warriors. Layne has played his violin for us only twice, and the other was 3 years ago for Warriors. It won him the name VioLayne, and it's really stunning.

Voiceplay is so talented and I love it when J None has leave from the navy and performs with them like in the “old days “. James Hetfield from Metallica wrote this and Elton John publicly stated it was one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Thanks guys!

One of my favorites from#Voiceplay!! The other song with VioLayne is Warriors. It'll also blow you away!! Fyi, with VP, no need to cover the video. VP loves their reactors and doesn't block anything! Look forward to your next one!

VoicePlay never disappoints me. Thanks for doing this one. I had actually thought about suggesting it a few weeks ago. And no matter how many times I expect Geoff to hit the sub-harmonic notes, he still makes me chuckle and shake my head every time. They all are incredibly talented and I'm impressed at their arrangements for the cover songs. Thanks again guys for a great video and reaction.

this was a brilliant cover and yes Geoff was superb as always but so was everyone else! Eli’s riffs are amazing Layne’s beatboxing Js beautiful voice and Cesar although he didn’t get much of a solo was doing great stuff in the background J was a group member for a long while and I think you would love their cover of Warriors and also Dream on ❤

You probably have seen J None before, since he used to be a member of the group. He left in the summer of 2021 but have been featured a lot since then. I love this cover, it brings all the emotions.

Finally got some time to get on here (thanks to a stomach bug) and you had just posted this! Really cheered me up. Brilliant reaction as always. If you want to hear some insane Geoff bass I would highly recommend their version of Valhalla Calling (I promise you won’t regret it 😉) hope you’re both well 😊

VoicePlay have been doing some iconic songs lately. Dream On, this one, and tPhil Collins' IN The Air Tonight, and done brilliantly with them. It's Jesse Nunn, not just Jess. It's pronounced as Jessie. stage name J None. You know that Geoff has his own channel of Low Bass Covers I suppose? Not a capella but where he multi tracks himself to cover his entire range.

Layne is doing the beatboxing and the violin. It is all recorded ahead, then they do the video. He attempted to the beatboxing while playing the violin, but it did not look good. Thanx for this reaction. I am always here for Voiceplay and Geoff!!

Enjoy your reactions - nice to see Voiceplay back on your list. Eli is such an outstanding vocal artist. From Crooner to Rock God to Plummy Cartoon voices, he can do anything. Geoff is definitely the gateway drug to the group with the attention-grabbing bass, but then you realize how amazing every artist is in their own right. Cesar can bring you to tears in "Creep", and then hit the high note in "Dream On". Layne, well, VioLayne. He's one of a kind. J.None has a beautiful voice, and the US Navy is richer for it (even if we don't get to have him rejoin Voiceplay as often).

Thank you for another priceless reaction to Voice Play. Please do a reaction video to Voice Plays newest cover of Hell Fire. Geoff plays the evil Minister Frolo. One of the most evil villains in a Disney movie. His acting skills are second to none. This is from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. It is their best yet. You will love it. Also Geoff newest solo cover of Jack's Lament from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Again, his acting skills are second to none.

Geoff arranged this one - imagine the conversation with the rest of Voiceplay... "Hey, I think we should cover Metallica".... Err... 😉. This is in my top 3 - I think it is an amazing arrangement and the execution is top notch. They are just amazing and I am here for it!

I love Metallica. I have them on in my car all the time with the Black Album. Voiceplay did an excellent job. My favorite of theirs has to be Journeys Don't Stop Believing. I like a few of theirs they aren't country like Home Free so I'll listen to them(not Home Free). 😊

BP2 has become Holly from Red Dwarf.. Voiceplay always sound fantastic, but as amazing as Geoff's voice is (it's out of this world, lets be honest), it always jars me when he goes super low. Also, never would have thought to put a violin in this one!

An interesting version. I did hear a Boys To Men sound as well, BP2. Of course no cover is as good in any song. I appreciate their talent but it's not a favorite for me. You guys should check out Miley Cirus performing this song with Metallica. I can picture your faces when you read what I just said. 😁 I would have never believed that that combo would EVER work. I am not a fan of her early work at all but her voice in this had a strong vibe of Pat Benatar, Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks. Well worth checking out.
