There are a lot of option because there are so many people of different backgrounds; they try to cater to the tastes of many. When we shop there, we already have in mind what we want and we know what we like--and we grab those things. The negative of having so many options is that sometimes its difficult to find the specific things you're looking for--its like playing "Where's Waldo"

She spent alot of time looking at food. The food department is small compared to all other departments. You have clothing, mens,women's, children, all separate departments. There's the electronic dept., with a massive row of wide-screen TVs displayed on the wall, includes all audio, gaming, and computers. A large shoe dept., toy dept., automotive and tire dept., household goods dept. with everything from furniture to pillowcases and every imaginable kitchen, bath, and dining room accessory. Then there's an attached outdoor pavilion for gardening, landscape and seasonal items, which is a massive structure in itself. There are massive food shopping stores now, that rival or surpass Walmart's food section. But only at Walmart can you buy a lawn mower, a steak, and some sneakers, all at one place.

Yep there's only one Walmart I know of that doesn't have a Big gardening section an it's one that doesn't have side doors to get out of so they have plants outside instead.

Creamer is "half and half" it's in between "heavy cream" and regular milk. So yes, creamer is a milk product unless it's a non-dairy creamer.

Keep in mind that some stores don't allow filming since it's technically not a "public" area (the store itself is private). Some will look over it, but we've all seen managers out there that are sticklers for rules so by having it focused more on herself there's probably less chance of someone having an issue and her not being able to record at all. Or maybe it's just how she preferred to record it. To each their own.

There is so much more inside a Regular Walmart... Housewares, Cookware, Electronics, Toy section, Camping Supplies, Home and Garden sections, Clothing, Auto Shops, an Eyeglass Center and Pharmacy. It can be quite an experience!

Costco's biggest competitor is Sam's Club. Sam's Club is owned and operated by Walmart. Like Costco they have their own brand as well as selling name brands. They specialize in large quantity or portion product sales while Walmart is regular quantity sizes.

sam's and costco operate a bit differently. sam's prioritizes stocking the name brands people want, costco prioritizes their own brand, but i'll give them credit for putting forth the effort to make their branded items good quality.

In the mid '90's Walmart was much smaller and instead of an asterisk, it was a star; they had vendors outside selling cinnamon donuts, they'd give you smiley face stickers on your way out, and they also had those delightfully creepy porcelain mannequins in the fabric section. That's how old I am because I remember that. Fondly.

Coffee creamer is basically dry milk powder with added flavor. And the big huge pre made party platters is for if you do not have time to make to an invitation too a get together. Same at all the supermarket wal, Sam's , Costco Safeway. Everything in huge quantities to last at least two weeks or a month for a family of four. That is why most stuff marked " family size". And can be found in most suburban areas , not downtown in cities like NYC , LA, Atlanta, Miami or Chicago.

It’s weird seeing a reaction to Walmart. I’ve lived Walmart my whole life. I’m from where Walmart is from and where their corporate headquarters is. My dad was high up in Walmart until he retired after 35 years. My parents even lived in Germany and England for a few years each when they were bringing Walmart overseas. I met the founder Sam Walton multiple times as a kid. I went to school with Sam’s grandkids. Walmart has been a constant in my life. This whole area has benefited greatly from Walmart. We have really really nice roads. 😂

I honestly am surprised that American companies like McDonald's made it across the pond and not Walmart. I still do like Walmart even though they're drastically different than how they were when I was 5. I think it's cute how this British girl reacted.

Creamer is not milk. Unlike heavy cream and half-and-half, coffee creamer is typically dairy-free. However, it may contain milk derivatives such as casein.

I am American, but I live most of the time in Africa with very small grocery stores and no selection. When I go back to the U.S. and make my first Walmart run I am overwhelmed. I usually try to plan my first trip to be a no agenda trip. Trying to actually shop is too stressful so I just look around and pick up things that catch my eye rather than trying to buy my list.

WALMART ALSO has Home Delivery (within a limited range) and a Drive up Checkout! You can order everything online, specify which store you want, and at a scheduled time (that you choose), you can just pull up and they'll bring it all out to you and even load it into your car for you.

My Husband worked for Walmart for 15 years and recently transferred to Sam's a bulk store. They both have a vision center and he went there. It was nice that everything transferred over like insurance, retirement etc.

Here we have 3 sizes of Wal Mart. 1 just for food, 1 is the basic store with food and all the items you need and the last size is like SUPER big store that is like everything one stop shopping

WalMart has a chain of stores called Sam's Club. In addition to regular sizes, they huge quantities available for some things, like a 48 ct. bag of toilet paper, 500ct box of tea bags,or 5lb boxes of cereal. Archie is coming along nicely! Love that smile, and there's no doubt about who's kid he is. He has all of the best features of each of you! How's his talking coming along? My three all talked pretty early. My oldest, Miranda, mouthed her first few words before she was a year old. My son, Drake was the slowest at around 15 months. Anyway, after they get going it's hard to shut 'em up!

Creamer is for your coffee only. It comes plain like milk or in all kinds of flavors. You use it in place of milk. Some are milk based and some are non dairy like coconut milk etc. then we have half and half which is half milk and half cream. And then we have cream used for recipes and heavy whipping cream for desserts.

Shortly after Walmart first came to my town of 8000 people over 40 years ago my dad went to his favorite hardware store. He was surprised that there was a going out of business sign on the door, so he asked the owner why. The owner said because Walmart was selling hammers (ane I assume everything else as well) cheaper than he could purchase them from his wholesaler. Walmart buys hammers by the train car load. A small storekeeper buys them by the dozen. Walmart can also beat the hell out of the producer on cost.

A little thing I do when I go to Wal Mart is start from the back of the store , where we go , that has juice & soda as well as milk & dairy. Then you do down each isle 'till you get to the produce. Then we are at the register. I let my mom , who I go with each Monday , pick the check out isle. After that she takes me back to my apt & then she heads back to her place in the next county. By the way next Monday we are heading to Buc-ee's here in Johnstown, the largest one so far , at 74,000 Square Feet.

If you give location permission to the Walmart app it will know which store you are in and where your item is. It will also tell you if it is in inventory and what the price is. You can also put in your full order on line and just go pick it up. The app will also let you scan the bar code of an item to find out the price if it isn't listed, or if it is on clearance.

In my state we have a grocery chain called Woodman's thats the size of walmart but its all grocery. No clothes, toys, sports, or electronics. And it's cheaper than Walmart

Coffee creamer = Half and half + the flavoring of your choice. Milk and milk fats come in many varieties: skim, 1%, 2%, whole, half and half, heavy whipping, skim+almond, skim+oat, yogurt, cream cheese, cottage cheese, soft serve, ice cream, etc. Dairy products are a staple that we experiment with and incorporate in our daily meals and nutrition pyramid. 6-11 grain or starch, 3-5 vegetables, 2-4 fruits, 2-3 proteins, 2-3 dairy, fats and oils used sparingly (oops). One cup of coffee with creamer is considered part of our daily dairy intake, add a BLT sandwich and that covers all the requirements of a food pyramid meal. 😉

Walmart is pretty much a weekely stop, has it's the closest, not counting the smaller but more expensive Grocery Stores. There is a Target but it's a bit further away and doesn't have a grocery department. I will often go to Walmart to get something and end up leaving with more then I intended to get.

Cheese is separated into 2 groups regular everyday packaged cheese and fancy aged and imported cheese. You might get some fancy cheese at Walmart but usually you have to go one quality level up in a grocer to get the fancy cheese island.

I took a look at the Coffee Mate (a popular coffee "creamer) in our fridge. The top 3 ingredients were water, sugar, and soybean oil. Then there are minor ingredients like flavoring, a little bit of milk solids, and preservatives. There are other brands of "creamers" but I imagine that most have pretty similar ingredients.

Next time in the U.S. you should check if there’s a Sam’s Club store in the area and go there, Sam’s is similar to Costco. Sam’s Club stores are owned by Walmart but the item packages are mostly larger than what’s in a Walmart so if you need to stock up on something bring a pickup for the larger items. Lol

The "washing up" tablets it says it's for laundry on the bag. I've never heard of them. And I really don't shop at Walmart either. The US has large selections of foods because we have all the ingredients that are banned in other countries. Read the ingredient lists, most of it is not healthy to eat. Sorry to sound negative, it's just our reality.

Hi guys! Creamer is either half and half (half cream/half milk), or it's a non-dairy product. It often comes in flavours, too. My favourite is Hazelnut! You can get it in powder form, or liquid. Personally, I think that the powdered form is just about as good as the real stuff, not quite, but when you consider the price, and the fact that you can store it at room temperature, it's an attractive option.

I think that there are many people who shop elsewhere. I shop Walmart for specific things but do most of my shopping at another food chain. This Walmart looked huge. America is large and not all Americans shop at the same stores. Walmart is relatively new but has forced alot of stores to move or close. Dollar stores are having a moment in the US now. 😊

Non-dairy creamer is instead of milk. And the US has 50 million different flavors of non-dairy creamer to put in your coffee. (Never do that to tea or it'll go into the harbor!) I don't like coffee, but if I have a hot vanilla beverage from a coffee shop, I'll get a couple squirts of hazelnut flavoring on top. And hazelnut is one of your options for non-dairy creamer for your coffee.

Creamer is traditionally a milk product, yes; but in the modern era there is also non-dairy creamer, which is generally labeled as such. Non-dairy creamer was originally invented for people who wanted to keep creamer around for occasional use (e.g., when entertaining guests, some of them might want creamer in their coffee) but didn't use it often enough, and it would spoil. These days, however, I'm pretty sure most of the people who use non-dairy creamer are doing so for other reasons (e.g., because they are lactose intolerant, which is far more common than it used to be, due to societal changes). When there are a bunch of options and you don't know which one you'll like best, you just pick one you haven't tried before. Then maybe next time you try a different one. Eventually, you're familiar with most of the options and have a pretty good idea which ones you like best (although sometimes you're just in the mood for a particular thing). And then they come out with a new flavor...

Creamer comes in many different flavors I like the non-dairy cinnamon roll from coffee mate because it comes in zero sugar just is 3-5g of carbs per two tablespoons. It’s like cream in your tea just flavored like there’s Irish cream there’s mocha there’s French vanilla, there’s caramel caramel chocolate and caramel salted chocolate and caramel vanilla there’s even Kahlúa.

If I'm going grocery shopping, I need to make a list before I go. Regardless of where I go. It helps me to stick to it much better. Personally, I prefer grocery shopping instead of mall shopping. I might still get one or 2 things not on my list, especially if something I buy frequently is on sale. Either way, it still makes a big difference to keep me from overdoing it.

Milk is milk. Either whole (with cream in it), skimmed or non-fat (all the cream extracted). Heavy Cream, or whipping cream, is whipping cream. The good stuff that separates from milk to make both butter and whipped cream. Half-and-half is half milk and half heavy cream. "Creamer" is a highly processed industrial food made from vegetable oils and has no relation to any real food in existence. It comes in powder and liquid forms and can be flavored with any chemical flavoring you can imagine.

Even though we are used to "Wal-Mart. We still have ppl that stay in there for hours. I family members that always stay in like 3 hours. Where I live we have always had a huge "Wal-Mart and we have a Subway soon as you go in. We have 4 different places to eat on the same street. Chick-fil-A "McDonald's "Olive Gardens "Zaxbys etc. Japanese places and clothing stores and a Home Depot on a long strip in "Oxford.

Lol. Creamer is a milk-based flavoring for coffee. It's the faster way of doing fancy coffees like Starbucks sells. It's a bit thicker than whole milk, but not as thick as whipping cream or buttermilk (🤢). Some creamer is dairy, but most in non dairy creamer, meaning no lactose. Great for those like myself that are lactose intolerant.

The large bags of salad do go bad quickly but i usually get them in the spring and summer when it's getting warm out and ill just make huge salads for the family for dinner, we usually grill chicken or steak and slice it up thin and put it on top of the salad with cheese and more vegetables, and after working outside all day in the heat it's a really great meal at the end of the day. It's a family favorite here and actually what we're having tonight lol roast turkey sliced up with Cheddar and veggies. I really miss Safeway grocery stores. They pulled out of Texas a long time back over wage issues. I remember, on a vacation to Colorado 20 years ago, seeing a Safeway. They've gotten even better! They always have the best meat, too. There's a store called TomThunb here in Fort Worth, and other parts of Texas, which is a subsidiary of Safeway. They're good, but kinda pricey.

Walmart's great, if your wondering about creamer, creamer is thicker then milk so if you like your coffee on the lighter side it takes a lot less creamer then milk plus you can get creamer in different flavors, French Vanilla is my favorite, you can also get flavored powdered creamer in the coffee aisle.

Talking about slim Jim's. I went to Dollar Tree and got a Dr. Pepper Slim Jim. After the first bite, I almost threw it away. But I took another bite and then ended up eating the whole thing. 😂 I go to Walmart at least once a week. Usually spend over a hundred dollars. I think she meant white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.

I get a kick out of foreigners who visit Walmart for the first time and walk around gobsmacked, gazing with awe and wonder upon a typical American store. Have you been to Lowes, Home Depot or Target? There's a Walmart right up the road from me, heck, I think there's one right up the road from most people. It's not Disney World for crying out loud, it's just a store.😄😉 Peace🕊

First, let me say: Millie Archie looks just like you! James, creamer is a light cream used for coffee and tea. Originally designed for restaurants or air travel as a cheaper way for you to lighten your coffee or tea yourself. Jump ahead a couple of decades, and flavored creamers were developed off of the flavorings of cappuccino. You can find salted caramel, French vanilla, and other flavors or just plain. Also, if you were doing a fill the house shop, Walmart is great, but Sam's Club or Costco, whichever is closer to you, is much better especially when it comes to things like proteins paper goods & produce depending on how often you two cook. If you are even joking about moving here to the U.S. stay away from these states California, Oregon, Washington state & DC, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania consider Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. There states like Florida that don't have income tax, good schools and depending where you live the safest place to raise a family. Florida and Tennessee are business friendly and are growing by leaps & bounds.
