It’s special because y’all are in it first of all. 2nd it’s showing good family clean content and setting a positive example of how a family should be together. Some people don’t have that, and just seeing y’all together could possibly give them hope for the same thing in their lives, and ultimately obtain it. That’s a pretty huge and very cool thing isn’t it? The amount of people this channel reaches is amazing! I absolutely adore this channel and the H family and have watched Elana grow from birth! By far my favorite family on KZbin and I always look forward to the videos.

In the US, we just lost our dear President Jimmy Carter at age 100. He forged a lasting peace between Egypt and Israel that endures to this day. He and his wife Roslyn spent their retirement building houses for the poor with Habitat for Humanity. He continued to teach Sunday School at his church into his 90s. In his honor, I am giving you his wife's recipe for Peanut Soup. (President George Washington also enjoyed Peanut Soup!) I hope you try it. My kids used to love this for a treat after they got home from school. President Jimmy Carter's Favorite Peanut Soup Melt two tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, then add half a cup of chopped onion. Saute the onion until it is soft and translucent but not brown. Add one cup of creamy peanut butter and heat it through until it thins down. Stir in one can of cream of chicken soup and blend thoroughly. Use the soup can to measure two cans of milk. Stir the milk in gradually, then heat the soup until it is steaming. If you want a little more flavor, you can sprinkle some chili powder or smoked paprika on top. God bless Jimmy and Roslyn Carter!
@travis7910916 күн бұрын
If you're ever near Mt. Vernon, there is an old tavern/pub that uses George Washington’s recipe for peanut soup. I was skeptical at first, but enjoyed it.

The thing with celery is it adds a lot of crunch and texture with a very mild taste change. It works well with onions especially as it allows the dish to retain some crunch as well cooked onions obviously get soggy or soft. Americans eat celery a lot in soups, potato salad, stuffings, salads, deviled eggs, meat loaf and even mac-n-cheese and the like.

Thanks for the review. I love thick, hearty soups, especially this time of year. I will def make the one you made. Here is one I fell in love with: 2 large frozen chicken breasts, 32oz container of 50% less sodium chicken broth packet of chicken gravy mix, (I didn't use, I used a jar of chicken gravy) family-size can of cream of chicken soup, (2 regular sized cans) half a stick of butter. 24oz pack of frozen Reames noodles 10oz bag of frozen mixed veggies Add these ingredients to a crockpot, along with roughly 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, and a sprinkle of dried parsley. Cook on high for about 5 hours. Then, shred the chicken with a fork and add a 24oz pack of frozen Reames noodles and a 10oz bag of frozen mixed veggies. Cook for an additional hour or until the noodles are done to your liking. Serve hot with biscuits. It's a hearty dish that feeds a crowd and makes for great leftovers!

The reason it's called "burger" soup in some American communities is because in the US Midwestern region, they colloquially call ground beef or beef mince as "hamburger meat" or "hamburger" or "burger", even if the ground beef is not being used for forming hamburger patties. Notice how this soup has no typical hamburger sandwich flavors, but rather a traditional comforting soup flavor profile? That means this is a soup coming from the Midwest where this is simply a ground beef based soup and not inspired by the hamburger served as a cookout or barbecue.

I found zinc can actually help fight colds. As a combat medic (68 Whiskey) in Texas during cold season... which is basically every day of the year... A bit of zinc actually made it possible to avoid getting that hacking mess. But, can't say it works for certain or if doing zinc a lot wouldn't effect copper levels or whatever. Just look into it. This is our favorite soup. Italian wedding soup. 6 potatoes I pound Italian sausage I cup chopped celery 1 cup chopped onion 1 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional ) 1 quart heavy whipping cream 1 bag kale 1 package fresh poultry seasoning herb 3 cloves chopped garlic ( do not add to other chopped vegetables) 2 quart chicken broth Peel and cut potatoes into large chunks. Sautéed chopped vegetables in olive oil until tender. Adding salt and pepper will draw out the moisture in the vegetables, thus rendering to cooking faster without burning. Brown and drain Italian sausage. Tie herbs, then addtalian sausage, potatoes, garlic, and 1 quart chicken broth into large pot. Boil until potatoes are tender. Cut off stove. Add whipping cream and kale. Let set 5 minutes. Stir and serve Chop fresh basil and add to soup along with kale and cream. To thick mashed one to two extra potatoes. Enjoy Sandra Walker
