You both are so Positive together - there is never a moment of serious tension between you. This is so refreshing to watch. I think that an American duo, working together on a demanding video project day after day as you two do, would result in at least some creative disagreements, if not some full-blown knock-down arguments from Hell. But your friendly teamwork and thoughtful support of one another seems to keep you both in a positive frame of mind. This is simply inspiring to me. What's best for me is that I can see how much you truly love each other, and just how much you support and impower one another in the best ways possible. It makes me long to work on a project in one of my old partnerships, where I collaborated with my partner Charlie in such a positive way that it was almost as we positive as how you two work together. This is exactly what any really good collaborative partnership should do. Bravo you two Boys & Girls: Bravo. Yours Eric

Compared to Another Broken Egg (85 locations in the US), these prices seems reasonable, $9.35 for sandwich (LA Eggslut) vs. $11-13 (Another Broken Egg). ABE has a more extensive menu such as omelettes, pancakes, and waffles much like a high class IHOP.

Joel, you should plant an herb garden outside your back door. Chives are so easy to grow you'll have chives coming out of your ears. They are a perennial... my clump is 40 years old. They are evasive, so keep them contained. You could even plant in pots so you could bring then inside during the winter. Add basil, thyme, dill or anything you like to your herb garden P.S. find someone that has them in their yard and ask for a clump. Like onions, they are separate bulbs and can transplant.

I like dill. My usual go-to for scrambles eggs is a bit of sour cream and dill, then dusted with a little salt and pepper after they're done, then with a nice layer of cheese on top to melt over them.

Small town country girl from North Carolina, USA. I love eggs and didn’t know until watching KZbinrs like yourselves and Sorted Food that people in most other places don’t cook eggs well done. I kept yelling at the screen “those eggs are NOT done”. LOL! Brilliant concept for a restaurant and you guys looked like you had the most fun cooking with them. Side note: I make “fried cheese” snacks for me and my fiancé just like that but we use “real” cheese because I don’t like processed cheese. Cheddar, Jack, Munster, and Harvati are a few of our faves but it’s fun to experiment with different cheeses and/or mixing different cheeses. Obviously we just really love cheese! Love watching you guys and the content you create together❤️🤍💙💛!
@elizabethw51322 жыл бұрын
We melt the fried cheese completely and then flip it. It’s more like a chip or cracker when it’s done. Similar to the brownish more done cheese when you cook a cheese topped casserole.

Lia, when you are seasoning food while cooking you should use the palm of your hand as a measuring device so that you prevent accidentally dumping too much of an ingredient into your dish. Then after you put however much of the ingredient you think is good you just dump it from you palm into the food. Just a tip to prevent over salting a dish.

Eggslut has 5 locations in the U.S - 4 in California and one in Nevada. Most Americans don't even know this exists. BTW - you can get an egg sandwich equal to if not better than that in any deli in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Egg. Bacon and cheese on a roll will set you back about $3, and they cook it for you fresh. Maybe that's why they aren't in the east. They took the concept from us.

I was in Thailand about 8 years ago and many restaurants had “eggslut” as a breakfast item. No clue as to where it originated, but I’ve been making bacon, scrambled egg and cheese. sandwiches for many years at home.
@frugalrange75582 жыл бұрын
I've gotta try that place. I watched Gordon Ramsey on Hot Ones make eggs just like that. I circulated the video in 2019 to my brother in law. To this day, he makes his scrambled eggs with the same technique. Placing the bacon to one side creates a change in texture and flavor. Gotta eat the sandwich hot. I like the packaging. All that egg needs a good wrapper to hold it together. I don't know why McDonalds continues to server their Big Mac in a box. Lettuce goes everywhere. I always ask for my Big Mac in a burger wrapper. Nice job guys and you got a mimosa too. Your ready for your next trip.

If you like these eggs you'll like something we do in Poland, spring onions, finely chopped but only the tips, not hard onion part, essentially the "leaf" part, you whisk a few eggs, add the spring onions and then saute the eggs together like you just did in the video, butter in the pan and partially melted and lovely soft scrambled eggs.....delicious with toasted buttery croissants, call it fusion cooking lol.
@Maria_Erias2 жыл бұрын
Word of advice: don't crack eggs open on the rim of a bowl of pan. That'll fracture the egg and lead to you getting bits of shell into your bowl or pan. Instead, tap the egg against a hard, flat surface (like a counter top) to create a fracture, then use your thumbs to open the egg. The egg shell will actually stick to the membrane then, instead of being broken free and getting in your egg. It takes a few times to get it down, but once you do, you'll never get shells in your egg again.

Looks like you had a fun time. One suggestion I'd like to make if you try to repeat this at home - you shouldn't crack the eggs on the lip of the pan. The narrow lip of the pan splinters the shells and almost guarantees small pieces of shell will be in your eggs. Crack the eggs against another egg or on a less narrow surface (counter top works well). When the shell cracks, it cracks into larger pieces and if by chance some does get into the pan with your eggs, they are easier to take out. But it's rare that I get any pieces of shell in my eggs using this method.

Eggslut isn't really an American "chain" restaurant - they have only 5 locations in the U.S. (4 in the Los Angeles metro area and 1 in Las Vegas, NV). There are 3 locations in Seoul, South Korea, 2 in Tokyo, 3 in London, 1 in Singapore and 1 in Kuwait City. When 2/3rds of your locations are outside of the U.S., and almost 1/3rd are all in one city, I don't think you can consider it an "American chain restaurant".
