If AEW hadn't been formed, WWE had already passed on her so she would have been in indies her whole wrestling career. She couldn't have known all of those years she was in school that another wrestling organization that actually cares about wrestling would be formed. That is why I give her such credit. Now, it has turned around like you said. She one of the faces of AEW so her being a dentist now appears to be her side deal. That fact is that she is incredible to make both of dreams come true. Is she the best female wrestler in the world? No, but she is improving dramatically. I am just impressed with her devotion and hard work.

Now that you mention it, she could even make "Hardcore Britt" an alter ego she draws on when she REALLY gets serious, like Mick Foley calling on Cactus Jack or Finn Balor using The Demon. Not like an _actual_ split personality or anything supernatural, just a role she gets into to psyche herself up for some hyper violence. Between her use of the Mandible Claw and her penchant for smiling manically through a face full of blood, some people have already compared her to Foley.

I've watched AEW since it started on TNT, Brit's character change from the beginning to now has been phenomenal! She has had so many cool spots, the "Roll Model" was my favorite. It was awesome out she was flourishing has a heal even when she couldn't wrestle. And her match with Sunday Rosa solidified her in my mind as one of the greatest women wrestlers ever. Her Mic skills phenomenal, and I love how she has rebel has a sidekick. They definitely need to do a thunder Rosa versus Britt Baker part 2

I was definitely one of the people that thought that Britt was there in AEW more for her cool back story and obviously she's a beautiful lady and someone whose face you can put on your marketing material, but not a great wrestler - until this match. Completely changed my opinion of her. She might not be a Kenny Omega from a technical perspective but she showed an unbelievable amount of heart that made the whole thing resonate on a different level. It reminded me of the Cody vs Dustin match. In these sorts of matches it doesn't actually matter who wins or loses the match - they both win. These 2 women did something really great for women's wrestling and they really did put the AEW women's division on the map. It's easily in the top 5 best matches in the history of AEW to date, male or female.

I love the bit at end where Britt talks about how she was able to talk Rosa into doing more extreme spots because she trusted her to be up to it and needed Rosa to trust her as well. Those two women must be so close by now. I've often thought that at the very end of a match that you know has completely brought the house down, for just a few brief seconds there's no-one else in the world you love more than your opponent/dance partner in that match. You could see it after Rosa pinned Britt where she looked like she wanted to hug her, but just had to settle for brushing some of Britt's bloody strands of hair off her face.
