I love making men's jewelry. The average size that was the highest selling point was 7 1/2 (7 1/4 eternal dimension) and 8 inches and 8-10mm size beads. I sell at craft shows here in South West Florida and use my invoice and inventory as a data. I can't speak for others but I have sold more men's bracelet in those sizes of the bracelets, and the size of the beads.

I also pull the knot under the bead before the glue dries so it can stay hidden under a bead because it is glued inside the bead 😊

@@MsTacos4me I collect beads...so I see everything. Like what she called dZi beads are not actual dZi beads. I guess you could call them dZi like beads. I also wouldn't consider her color selection as necessarily being "colorful.". But, I think she did great selecting and coordinating the colors she used to make masculine bracelets. They look great together. And, I can tell you the Chevron beads she showed earlier in the video were probably made in India, they were not Venetian chevrons. While I collect beads and make things with them...I have yet to make a stretch bracelet, which is why I was interested in this video. I usually use toggle clasps or s-hooks.

Love your bead selection. You make it look so easy using that needle. I've watched so many videos using elastic and everytime I try to do it, I get it all tangled up. I've got to get one of those needles and thicker elastic. The sales girl told me 0.5 would be good to work with, but I think 0.8 or 1mm is better.

I think they've changed this way they make the beating needle for elastic the way it broke it means the material they use for the metal is cheaper. Also they're saving money by shortening the length of the needle. Do you think the other option would be to make your own needle for a lastic string?

Hi love this video thank you for it. I'm making a man a bracelet but the beads are all heavy stone beads will that stretchy 1mm cord still hold those beads? I dont know his wrist size though, do you think wire or leather would be better? I want it to really last not convinced the stretchy cord will how long do you think that lasts would you say???
@TurquoiseStreet2 жыл бұрын
It really depends on how hard they are on the bracelet and what kind of stones are used. I avoid getting mine wet and make sure to use two hands to put on stretch bracelets instead of just stretching it with one hand to put it on. Leather and wire can be more sturdy, but again depends on materials used!
@tommtommkin2 жыл бұрын
@@TurquoiseStreet Hi thank you for the comment back. The beads are hematite, shungite, black agate, pyrite, black jade plus... Are they too heavy for the stretchy cord do ya think? Guys can be pretty rough of there jewelry so not too sure just how careful he will be with the stretchy cord. Because I dont know his wrist size not sure how to go about this. Thanks again for the response. :)
