Here’s a tip for any future baking!! If it specifies a crumbly texture you can leave room temp butter as it is! No need to melt! The solid butter forms the crumb structure well. Use a fork to mix the dry with the butter and it should work perfectly. It’s kinda like when you make pie crust. This is at least what my family always does but we certainly aren’t professionals
