How to Network In (and after) Law School

I'm definitely not an expert at networking (and I dread it) so I asked my husband, Huy, to come talk about his experience and tips for networking in order to find a job. These tips will help anyone (lawyers or not) who want to learn how to network and I'll also throw in a few tips specific to lawyers or those in law school.

Hi I’m a high school student who wants to become a lawyer but I got years ahead of me . I’ve been watching a lot of law videos that explain the court systems and what not . Any ideas or tips you recommend for me in preparation ?

you have a lot of time, just study hard and get good grades in high school so you can go to a good college which will prepare you to go to a good law school. in the meantime, if you are unsure if you want to go into law, talk to other lawyers, find out what kind of law you like to do and then find out what that will entail. See if it's something you would enjoy doing after you graduate from law school and take the bar exam.

it is - you just have to either use the first, second and third degree connections you have or force yourself to get out of your comfort zone and meet people.
