Beyonce has people thinking theyre missing out on something in country music. THEY AREN'T. Whytes say country has the best stories. No. That's folk. And RnB and Gospel still has the best singers. I listened to a few of her songs because I didn't know who she was. It was only ok. TBC could of had a more talented singer like Avery Wilson. But despite the hype I will buy into finding more AA country artists to support. If Taylor Swift non-singing as can be successful, there's no reason why she can't be
@beautifulsurprise9424
@beautifulsurprise9424 13 күн бұрын
I think what Beyoncé did with the 4 young ladies she featured on her album was provide an introduction to the already established Black country artists who had already been making country music prior to her releasing her country album because a lot of people incorrectly assumed she was the first Black women in modern times to do it. I think it was simply a way to showcase the lesser known country artists who were already established so the audience would find out about them and give their music a listen. It’s up to each individual person to decide if they like it what they hear as you’ve indicated you did not. Even though you did not I believe there will be people who do enjoy what they hear and at the very least they can’t deny that each and every one of them are extremely talented and can sing, regardless to whether or not you actually like what they’re singing…at least that’s my opinion.
@craigslistreplies3485
@craigslistreplies3485 13 күн бұрын
@@beautifulsurprise9424 I did not indicate that I did not want to hear country music. I implied this particular artist has vocals that are only average compared to RnB and gospel artists like Jazmine Sullivan and Tasha Cobb. I don't know why anyone would think Beyonce is the first AAW to do country. And I also think Beyonce did a poor job of highlighting AA country artists. I only listened to Blackbird once but it sounded like they were background singers. They weren't even listed as features on youtube😒
