Fun fact: White Men Can’t Jump was the second-to-last film that Kadeem and Woody Harrison worked on while contractually obligated to A Different World and Cheers. Kind of surreal, since those shows were back-to-back on NBC’s Thursday night lineup. I imagine that Kadeem and Woody couldn’t wait to be free of their respective characters so they can focus on other projects. Too bad Kadeem’s career didn’t flourish as much as Woody’s, which was evident from the get-go, according to their last films while playing Dwayne and Woody: the low-budget ‘Gunmen’ and box-office ‘Indecent Proposal.’ Kadeem deserved so much more.

DJ Envy is funny. Before integration and A Different World, my grandfather attended Hampton and my father/ uncle attended Virginia Union and Virginia State. So, I am often confused how he never knew about HBCUs. A Different World had amazing actors and actresses. And, I absolutely love Kadeem Hardison.
