This is a social moray that has never made sense to me. As long as both people are adult age and they are both there voluntarily who cares? If it makes them both happy more power to them. What people seem to forget is the fact that for all but the last hundred years or so of human history it was the norm for young women to marry old men. It isn't a clear age of 16. Many states place age restrictions between 16 and 18. two 16-year-olds is fine, but a 16 and 35 yr old would be illegal. Jerry Lee Lewis (great balls of fire) married his 14 year old 2nd cousin. They waited for a year for her to turn 14. Led Zeppelin and the Beatles, Rolling Stones ect all know for their 13 and 14 year old groupies in the 60s and 70s. Over the past 30-40 years, our culture has modified people in their 20s to be like teens, so everything is delayed now. In the 70s, an adult over the age of 18 would not be caught dead "playing". Today, we have 40 year old not good at anything but video games. Our culture now matures much later than they used to.
