They're a party of "empathy" but in reality its "blind kindness and empathy" What they have is nothing that represents compassion. Sadly, a lot of people don't bother doing their research, and a big part of why so many are ignorant about what's going on is because "they don't want to have anything to do with politics" or "they're trying to avoid politics" You CANNOT avoid politics. Politics by definition is about how people are governed and the laws that are in place or new ones being pushed. It affects everyone. The more people know about politics and how bills are passed and about their Constitution(s), the better. Unfortunately the corrupt have injected narratives into politics, and that's half the reason why people hate/avoid politics. The other reason is natural laziness into learning anything that is remotely a little challenging or complicated.

Meanwhile, not even a grown white men would be safe in an all black neighbourhood. Just think about it, the news would milk the fuk out of a story about a black woman getting killed in a white neighborhood because of racism.

When I was in highschool in the 80s my blonde haired, blue eyed English teacher told us about being a kid on a trip to DC in the 60s. He was walking down the street in a black neighborhood the day MLK was shot. A black cab driver pulled up, told him to get in. He didn't have any money, the man told him that didn't matter. Took him back to the Mall.

You're wasting your time with this comment. Britt has been programmed from birth to believe that black people are the default victims of Planet Earth and white people are the default racists of Planet Earth. She will always believe that white privilege exists and black privilege does not exist, even though there is a mountain of evidence in our society showing the complete opposite is true. The most privileged people in America believe they are the most oppressed. They will ALWAYS be this way. The best response to buffoonery like this is to roll your eyes, laugh at the court jesters, and move on to something more productive.

I used to be that liberal who blindly follows along and agrees with everything because my side was on the "right side of history". Then between 2008 and 2015 i had a very slow epiphany that what i was voting for was not making anything better. And if my side was on the right side of history then why when they won did nothing actually get better? So i decided in 2015(ish) that from then on i was going to read the manifestos for the candidates and vote for which one i thought was going to do the most good regardless of who was saying it. And, yes, my candidate may not always win, and sometimes none of the candidates are proposing things that will make life better for people so i don't vote, but at least i can live with a clear conscience knowing i didn't actively make the world worse by voting tribally or by voting for the least worst candidate with a chance of winning... because least worst is still worse than the best.

57:21 That's not really a conversation about privilege anymore that's just a conversation about racism. That's people being racist because a black person has money and has been successful, and that absolutely still happens. What she's saying is that "white privilege" doesn't apply to 90% of white people. Travel the country and most of the white folk are poor and living paycheck to paycheck at best just like the black folks. I'm Hawaiian, born and raised in Hawaii so I don't really have a horse in this race but I keep seeing these arguments go back and forth and I think from an outside perspective all of these things just divide us.

Facts bro. One of the biggest points of dictatorship is the "cult to a leader" (I dont know how to translate it from spanish). Thats why I always found so disgusting how there is people in my country with a picture of a politician (who was Mussolini's fan, btw... Just connect the dots) in their kitchen and things like that. The amount of "cult to a person" that exist in my country is absolutely disgusting. People voting for someone just because they swear to keep with the work of X politician who died 20 years ago. Like in Argentina, you have Cristina Kirchner using Peronism as their main political idea but they are left-wing asf, and Peron was in fact more right-wing that anything. I would spit in the face of those politcians who now's use his name.

The fact that you can openly disagree with something she says or have your own view and not be totally raked over the coals is such a refreshing breath of air compared to some other spaces online. I know there are still some in this community, even in this very comment section, that feel the need to explain why "you're wrong and this is how it actually is" as if everyone doesn't have their own unique experience or view points in this world but thankfully it's a small fraction compared to some other community's in this landscape, some you've even reacted to yourself.

Like Shoe said, it's not a color thing, it's a class thing. Just like the girls who say there are "no good men," this fantasy of "white privilege" only exists because 99% of the population is invisible. Stop focusing on the fraction of a percent of the population that is thriving and start noticing the 99.9% that are struggling just like you---or even more than you. Also, shift your focus from color to culture. "White" is not a monolith. Hi Britt, as UK citizen now living in Australia and an atheist, I totally agree with the majority of what you said both sides of politics use the same tactics to convince voters to vote for them the main problem in the US is that the US democratic system has a few flaws. One, is executive power unlike like your president the prime minister of the government does not have executive power except in time of a state of emergency such as war, or natural disaster. apart from that any change to the law has to go through the parliamentary process of both houses. Two, lacks separation of power the Judiciary in both the Uk are elected to office by parliament but the recommendations for office come from the judiciary themselves in the UK the decision of who is made by a bipartisan committee from both major parties and also including interested parties such as layers social agencies and such like In Australia the government decides based on the recommendations although there are moves to adopt a system similar to the UK to make the process more transparent. The other part of the separation of power unlike the US the prime minister does not have immunity from prosecution or the ability to pardon someone any politician at any level of government can be prosecuted even during their term in office and if convicted of a serious crime can be excluded from office, they usually resign before that happens. Also, government can only pardon people in exceptional circumstances such as a proven miscarriage of justice at no other times can the judiciary be overruled. Three, for any constitutional change to occur then this has to go to a vote to people in the form of a referendum. even major policy changes like Brexit in the UK was put to the people in the form of a referendum. So essentially in the UK and Australia and many other countries such as New Zeeland, Canada, Some of Europe and Asia nobody has absolute power the old adage is Power corrupts but Absolute power Corrupts Absolutely

Great reaction! I wanted to touch on the "white privilege" thing. Let's assume it happens as often as you say. How do poor whites have the "privilege" of not having that particular issue that rich blacks have? Rich blacks likely don't have people assume they are racist and privileged, should we call that lack of problem a form of "black privilege"? People aren't objecting to "white privilege" because they believe black people don't experience racism. They are objecting because "white privilege" implies that it's somehow related to the white people that a negative experience of black people can happen. And poor whites (often correctly) feel like they are being blamed for other people's racism, especially as it's rich white people that would be making these assumptions. Does that make sense?

Because at least the one in the competing tribe is a tribal, they can understand them and maybe even convert them to their side, but people who don't instinctively want to belong so badly, they'll believe anything their tribe tells them, are the scariest and most alien to them. There one and only one thing that they got right and that is there have been neighborhoods where FEMA wouldn't go...... BECAUSE they were attacked. FENA was in the hurricane areas and had prepositioned supplies before the hurricanes hit.

Women if any color have “pretty privilege” over all men, all the time, so shouldnt we address the sexism then? Priveledge is entirely based on personal feelings and bias one way or the other its not systematic, it never has been, the system, just has biased people. 😮

I’ve learned so much during this election cycle. First and foremost, the far left and the MAGA crowed are EXACTLY the same when it comes to ‘agree with me 100% on EVERY topic, or you’re trash and we HATE you.’ Both look down on the other while doing the same exact thing. I was always fairly moderate on most issues but the chaos over the last few years has shifted me more to the right. The MAGA crowd welcomed me with open arms UNTIL I recently had an opinion on one executive order and BAM, now I’m trash to the MAGA crew. My ‘crime’ was agreeing with the sentiment of an EO but disagreeing with the rhetoric around the EO. That’s it!! So either side criticizing the other for being ‘all or nothing’ is ridiculous.

Well... Shoe on head, if that's your policy plan, which sounds great btw, I think we may have solved our need for "new and different" democrat candidate! You're smart, have ACTUAL policies, female, and easy on the eyes (which the left has a lack of if you watch tik tok, 😂 and a wonderful sense of humor! Then those jackasses would have no choice but to vote for you (because it'd be down to you and Vance ) Which would be the cherry on top😂😂😂😂😂

The parties are the problem. Blind allegiance to the parties, from both the politicians and the voters, is a problem. We should get rid of the parties. Even back in the Federalist Papers, there were arguments for not having political parties, or factions. How prescient that argument was.

What I find to be hilarious is that the people griping about her videos are projecting onto her what they, themselves, are actually doing..... and worse, have to "react" to someone else's video because they can't attract a solid enough "following" from their own actual creation. But each and every one of them are hell-bent on sticking to one side of the aisle and lambasting anyone who isn't 100% on their side of the aisle as being almost "evil." I mean, do they do any critical thinking of their own, that they are basically stuck on regurgitating what their preferred party puts out ~ essentially plagiarizing other people's thoughts and opinions verbatim without an original thought of their own anywhere to be seen? ~Shakes head~ Sure, I don't agree with everything she says..... but at least she is entertaining while also encouraging me to think about things critically and rationally. Kudos to her. Edit: I don't think she has a grasp of what people are speaking about when they refer to privilege. If I have an issue somewhere, I can move to another area of the country or more easily find another job and escape the issue. POC can't escape the issues they face each and every single day. To say a rich person of color (any color) has more privilege than a college white person trying to pay off student loans..... she is so barking up the wrong tree on this topic. I've had too many really close friends and have seen what they deal with each and every single day of almost all classes (never had any billionaire black friends, so can't give a first-hand account of them.... although I can see how much over-the-top criticism rich POC face everyday (rich being based upon the political definition of rich based on those who earn $200,000 or more per year).

I think you have your mind still stuck in racial relations from 20 years ago and that’s fine you are a mature woman with a family and have your life sorted out. The reality today for a white guy is exactly the same as your example for a black guy. I can’t walk into certain neighborhoods and feel safe and be comfortable there with the community because of the color of my skin. I will just as easily as any black man get mugged, beat, racially harassed, discriminated against, etc. There's no racial privilege anymore and things are simply bad both ways with tons of racism from both sides. Class privilege is the only privilege. Is there inherent racial biases that lead to black people being discriminated against by strangers? Absolutely. But as far as overall rights, laws and opportunities we are the same and none of us who aren’t rich get treated better than the other.

I hope you understand, Britt, that many of us respect your takes regardless of whether or not we agree. That's what I like about you. You are unapologetically, authentically you, and that's what I want from a content creator. I don't care what they label themselves as, or if I agree with them 100% of the time. Much like Shoe, you're you and that's what I like. Note: white people end up places where people think they aren't supposed to be there because of the color of their skin, too. This is not solely a black thing. Try being a white dude walking around the southside of Chicago, or up in Harlem. Or even local to me, there are areas where I've had my life threatened for being white, not for any other reason (the people said as much as they chased me). There is racism, yes, from all colors of people. Watch Charlie Cheon's "What are we doing to white people" (on youtube) if you want to see how we are treated by some, and you think it's only black people who are treated like they don't belong in certain circles.

16:15 These people are so ignorant, they really dont understand how the world moves in a pendulum, and that extremism hes showing is the same one that's gonna punish him in the future. When you justify a murder because the person killed "was a racist" then you are, unconsciously allowing someone else to do the same to you when they feel your "bad behavior" is equally serious as racism.
