He also said that in the song MGK said "Y'all rap, you're not gods" or something like that, but on twitter he said "you just rap, you're not god." So it was the twitter post that really made him react, not the song.

The funny thing about that is that Em did him kind of favor there, because mgk is doing now a lot better in music business. He got more famous, got two platnium albums, which he never did in rap(in rap all silver and gold albums) and doubled his net worth. He really did pull the best out of that beef, if anything else. There were layers to this song before it was even released: -Eminem did a 7 minute video playing Pac Man. -Eminem releases the track "Killshot" 7 days after Pac got shot, towards someone with Pac Man tattoos. -One Pac's albums is called: The Don KIlluminati: The 7 Day Theory. -Killshot is also the name of a movie where the main character "Colson" gets shot down by an experienced gunner; MGK's middle name is Colson. -At the end of the track, Eminem talks about the call that got Pac shot and killed. ☠️ Taking these dates and numbers and trying to them together is not a reach. For example, just take this line : "Say you got me in a scope, but you grazed me I say one call to Interscope and you're Swayze" Meaning if he called Interscope he'd disappear. This diss track was what basically ended Benzino's career. 8:50 He brought Diddy into it because Diddy had to give the okay to MKG in order for him to make and release Rap Devil. Haven't seen it in the comments yet, so wanna add the Diddy thing might not be just about MGK's diss. Joe Budden was also contracted with Diddy when Budden was taking shots at Em, and I think there may be one or two others people have pointed out who called out Em, but the common factor was they all worked in some capacity under Diddy, so it could be that Em is acknowledging that Diddy's sending shots through a bunch of proxies and decided to call him out a little more directly. Also at the end where he says, "I'm just playin Diddy, you know I love you." He's said this before. The "I'm just playin XXX, you know I love you" shows up in Kill You, White America, So Much Better, Kick Off Freestyle. He's being sarcastic when he says it. Also if anyone doesn't know, Em isn't the first one to suggest Diddy was responsible for Pac's murder. It's a fairly well known conspiracy theory about what happened, and not implausible even just considering the heat between Bad Boy and Death Row at the time. That makes the line hit harder. That said I only know shit you can read on the internet or watch in KZbin videos (or in a couple peoples' books), so take it with a huge grain of salt.

Eminem caught wind of it, he released "Not Alike" off of Kamikaze. (Same album that has "The Ringer") MGK released Rap Devil. Eminem hit him with Killshot so damn hard, he knocked him into punk rock. (Where MGK then stupidly went after another GOAT of rock.....Slipknot) The reason he brought in Diddy and Tupac is actually very simple, and often mistaken. Yes for many years there was a rumor that Diddy was the one to call the hit on Tupac. We know that is not the case. But that is not what Em meant. He was saying the day MGK actually gets a hit single is the day Diddy says "I killed Tupac." Basically that will never happen, and thus MGK will never put out a hit.
