I won't miss a potion slot since I am a TH12 in Titan 1 and almost always meet TH13 (maxed or almost) and higher anyway (which means 2* almost always. No way I get 3* on a consistent basis and I never bring CCs)

It’s easy to deal with them even if all your troops are ground-only such as pekkas and hog riders (which I commonly use). What I do is lure them (cc troops) by spawning an Archer queen then the moment the cc troops attack, I freeze spell them. Boom! Problem solved.
