Muhammad Joshua Al-Imām Ibn Al-Qattān Al-Fāsi (died 628H) stated: “They (Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jamā’ah) have agreed (ajma’ū) that hearing and obeying the ruler is obligatory. And they have agreed (ajma’ū) that whoever gains authority of the affairs of the people of a country whether it was with their pleasure or by ceasing power with brute force, whether the rulers are pious or tyrannical, then they are not to be rebelled against with the sword regardless of whether the leaders are oppressive or just.” (Al-Iqnā’ fil-Ijmā)

Ibn Hajr Al-Asqalāni (died 852H) stated: “The rebellion of a group from the Salaf against the tyrannical ruler, then that was before the establishment of the ijmā’ that prohibited rebellion against the oppressive ruler.” (See Mirqāt Al-Mafāteeh Sharh Mishkāt, 2/181). He also stated (Fathul-Bāri 13/7): “Ibn Battāl said: In the hadeeth is proof forbidding revolt against the ruler, even if he is tyrannical. The scholars (fuqahā) are in agreement (ijmā’) upon the obligation of obeying the ruler who came into power by conquest; it is obligatory [therafter] to make jihād alongside him, and obedience to him is better than rebelling against him… and the scholars made no exception to this [ijmā’] except if the ruler disbelieves openly and clearly. In that case, there is no obedience to him. Rather it is obligatory to strive to oust him for the one who has the ability.”

Shamsi illustrates this by showing us how the Salaf dealt with a great Scholar who adopted the opinion of the khawarij, didn't even call to it, just held the view of the permissibility of revolting against the rulers. They declared him an innovator DUE to OPPOSING THE SUNNAH. Once again, there is NO differing in the SUNNAH of Al Mustafa, an Nabi sallallahu alaihi salam on revolting against the sinful ruler, nor is their a difference of opinion that deobandits are innovators!

I wouldn't take knowledge from someone who's full of mistakes I need to protect my Imaan. Hajji is passionate about his deen but his knowledge doesn't benefit him or the ummah just mere deception and miss guidance. Isn't it sufficient for us that he is attacking the people who hold on to the truth? Clear cut Khariji and we know what the Prophet Peace and blessings be upon him said about the Khawarij. Nuff said. On top of that we shouldn't even have good thoughts about Ahlul bida, what's the point its only going to effect our deen. They are well spoken but dnt understand the deen. Just imagine The Prophet Pbuh said not to rebel against the leader and then thousand years later some guy from Birmingham hatches out of an egg and calls against what the Prophet Pbuh said. And you start to blind follow this person and you yourself start to rebel against the leader then many people die in the Process and on the day of judgement you wake up and see millions of murdered people on your head because you couldn't hold back your tongue then what? Stay away from anything that opposes the Sunnah doesn't matter how kl a person is if they call against the Sunnah and have been warned and they carry on. Dnt even have sympathy for this person or make excuses but warn against them. This life is full of deception and it's not a joke. We are only here for a number of days so cling to the Quran and Sunnah with the Understanding of the Salaf at all costs. And protect your Imaan. And worship Allaah swt how he wants you to worship him and be around the People of Ilm. Being around Khawarij or Ahlul bida is worse than committing zina, atleast zina you can repent In Shaa Allaah but once you add to the Religion and you have firm belief in your bida that's when your finished.

Yes there is some that aren’t well mannered probably because of said background this person had, maybe he was brought up in the streets and is new to the Dawah, but is working on his character. Ask yourself would you rather be around him who’s Aqeedah is sound doesn’t appose the Sunnah and salaf in Aqeedah, Usool, creed and methodology which is the first thing we’ll be questioned about in our graves. Or would you rather be friends with a mubtada who opposes the Creed of the salaf but has supposedly good manners. What is good manners? The scholars explained those who have good manners is those who have good manners with their lord and creator first and foremost and then the creation, and that’s what this Sunni/Salafi Creed revolves around.

Is there ijtehad in aqeeda? If no then how do the salaf who rebelled had ijtehadi mistake? If there is a room of ijtehad in this matter then its no ijmaah here. Its so confusing for a guy who want to know manhaj of salaf. In case of khulafa haqqa, its clear for me that no room for rebellion. What about the oppressive settler? Why did salaf rebel if this is matter of ijtehad? Were they khawarij?
