I LOVE Broadcast!! My favorite song by them is "Unchanging Window / Chord Simple", but "You Can Fall" is a real close second. RIP Trish.

@Eduardo-Ferreira1982 So, why did you write this in reply to my comment? If you're talking about the song in the video, then all I can say is that the person just said this is THEIR favorite song. That's called opinion, and we all have them. And there's nothing that makes yours any more valid than theirs. If you're talking about the (two) songs I listed, then, again, opinion. And "Unchanging Window / Chord Simple" is from the 'Extended Play Two' EP. It's a rerecording of "Unchanging Window" from 'The Noise Made By People' with a nice coda tacked onto the end. I'm just a little confused why you decided to make this comment on what I wrote . . .

I hadn't heard of Broadcast either until about a year ago. , and now I'm obsessed. They are so good.. I'm sad that Trish Keenan passed away and I'll never get to meet her 😢

This year came out a collection of demos of songs Trish was preparing. I guess next year will come out the second part. Even if we're talking about sketches and skeletons of studio profuced and finished works, they are like fresh water in the desert that Trish left us in when she died.

Pretty much the minute I plugged in an electric guitar, or patch cables into effect boxes and got little pops and noises I wanted use them. I love to hear people use non musical sounds musically.

Glad you liked it and prompted you into the commentary! Also, I'm very welcoming your turn into more recent stuff. Reminds me of my way of exploring the catalog of music classics.

Sufjan flooded a few of his songs with synth glitches on occasions. It grates unless the tides of solace or grace endeavour to embrace yer ...quoting u just now .... " tranquility....." The ultimate purposeful glitch is to be heard on BUDGIE's "zoom club" Shirley?

Incorporeal is likely what you were thinking of. The opposite of corporeal. My first thought when this song started up was Antena (French Belgian synthpop band) with a little bit of something else that I can't remember the name of. Your description of this type of music made me think of Antonio Carlos Jobim "Tide" album which, though it featured a different style of music, had that same laid back feel. I do not recommend reacting to "Tide" unless you wish to put your viewers to sleep. It is very close to what used to be called elevator music.

This song (and this album) is by far not the best you'll hear from their magnificent catalog.

Your "corporeal" is just a small glitch, that's all. The word you're thinking of is _incorporeal_ , which means what you said. No biggy. Latin is _corpus_ if I remember what was thrashed into me long ago, correctly - body - and then we English that word root to build other words.

Broadcast are so so good. Though they would release still interesting tracks after this album and until Trish death, this album represents a less complex rhythmic sounding. If i remember correctly, their drummer left the band and - believe me - it makes a huge difference. You can hear his jazz style. Please, JP, do "Haha Sound" a listen. You'll be marvelled. And, One last note, Broadcast fans Will probably know this, they were very influenced by a band called The United States of America (what a name, uh?) 😊 Bradcast are one of my favorite and unique bands of all time. I put them side to side as VDGG and Cocteau Twins.😊
