Hello and thank you for adding this useful video. Is fantastic. Could you tell me the model of each tip you used in the video please? in order of how you used them if possible. Thanks so much

Great demonstration on broad head performance at the different poundage's. Selection is key for your setup to get the ethical kill. Awesome Job Korbin's Archery!

I love the Ramcat. I can attest to its excellent penetration ability. They straight up eat

Hello, If I send you some ravntek mechanical heads will you add them in tests?. Very unique good heads.

Ramcats are amazing broadheads I use them and T3 G5

First part of the video was good but to many variables were added into the test later for it to be an accurate test. Different draw lengths and poundages greatly change the transfer of energy as well as two different bows but same length of arrows.

Taggart Jenkins I agree with everything you said!

I shot two deer in the same day with a slick trick at 49# 28.5" and both blew right through both animals and stuck in the dirt. With a 335 gr arrow.

Maybe I missed it in the video, but what was your total arrow weight?
@jaycollum24765 жыл бұрын
ive always heard to not drop down to the target when aiming because it puts extra stress on your arm to stop the momentum. obv. you know more than me, whats your opinion?
@KorbinsArchery5 жыл бұрын
Junglewolf airsoft there are many theories about draw approach. I am a top down guy while target shooting.

I downed two elk bulls with slick tricks. Lung em and down they go.

My brother used exodus for one year, he shot 2 deer, the first one he double lunged and barely found any blood the next one was quartering away he hit it it right behind the back rib and he waited 4 hours and trailed it about 100 yards and jumped it he never found it

Bad shot placement

The G5 is only a two blade that's why it penetrated better. Plus it has a grocer type point.
@KTMsoldier19886 жыл бұрын
The afflictor is a two blade... but it does have the small deployment bleeder blades. If thats what your getting at?

That’s quite the bend in your arm.
@KorbinsArchery6 жыл бұрын
John Doe thanks for the feedback John Doe. Yes, this is a customers bow as stated in the video. We also stated that the bow was too short of a draw length for me because it was a customers and the actual draw length. Hope that clarifies the arm bend if you didn’t catch the explanation in the video. Have a great day

Great job. I can't believe how good the Havoc did. I would have thought a bigger cut like that would penetrate less.
@KTMsoldier19886 жыл бұрын
If you look closely it doesn't look like it opened on contact
@bbmopar3834b6 жыл бұрын
KTMsoldier1988 oh ok. That would explain why. What is your ho to head for whitetail. I've used a bunch and had success with all, but I'm really thinking about trying the Magnus Black Hornets, or even the newer Tru Glo broadheads.

Andrew Brooks I currently use rage hypodermics. But I think I'm going to switch and try the afflictor k2 this year.

KTMsoldier1988 that's kool. I'll look into them as well.

KTMsoldier1988 the Havoc opened at both poundage. It was the only expandable that did at low poundage and actually blew through the wood.

amazing our ancestors were able to hunt at all without all of this...……...animals are not plywood
@ElvisVikic5 жыл бұрын
They also hunted non stop until they caught something in groups hiding in trees and outsmarting the animal.

sacrifice a doe rib cage and shoot into it..real meat and bone tells u more..halk side of beef or a hog if u can..we always did that in those days of really wondering what different heads did..
@KTMsoldier19883 жыл бұрын
You will never get consistent testing results....if one head hits a bone and another misses the bone you will end up with varying results.....this is and apples to apples comparison. I think MDF board would have been a better selection just because plywood can vary in strength depending on the grain.

I keep seeing these test...folks are doing on ply..what are the test the tip companies are doing...leather deer strap and some gelatin behind it would be more realistic for the purpose of the arrow tip I would think...I am not sure of how much thicker bear hide is compare to deer but I'm sure ply wood is not practical to any of these tips..not trying to bash what you are doing but, skin and flesh test are real. No one is out there hunting bucks or bear with ply wood hide

Ducati Midnight thanks for providing a comment. Im not sure if you have had the opportunity to listen to my other reviews or not. I clearly state exactly what you are saying. We test BH’s for fun. That being said the plywood is much easier to break through than a shoulder hit or rib on large game. (Large game: moose, elk, etc) Thanks again for participating with our page!! Have a great evening !

I shoot a 70 lb bow

So.
@richvalentine18896 жыл бұрын
Why do you say 65lbs is low poundage, I would say 50lbs is low.
@stonefox62246 жыл бұрын
Rich Valentine i could be mistaken but i believe he said 55# bow hope this is correct. I personally dont consider 65# low poundage i recently switched from a 70# to a 65# bow for no particular reason other than its what they had in my cam size but with the faster speeds of tadays bows its not even noticeable just easier to draw in the cold Illinois late season the buck i took this year i put a slick trick mag 1+1/8in cut fixed head thru both lungs came out opposite shoulder blade and stuck 3in in the ground on other side im not worried whatsoever about 65#@28in being enough KE for big game. Its helps allot to shoot heavier arrows too will dramatically effect penetration
