Fun stuff, perhaps a few villains might be in order? Col. Girdwood, or some frog officers and line troops to skirmish against? Grew up in the US but with some Anglo-phile tendencies, played rugby instead of American football, bbc when we could get it etc. learned about Sharpe but couldn’t get into it as a kid (too much romance not enough battle then). Happily they are much more engaging episodes now. I found them on iTunes. But with some digging occasionally you might find full episodes online. (URL withheld so algorithms can’t go looking and the videos live a little longer).

As for how the models could be used, you could run them in a game of Age of Sigmar: Warcry as a Cities of Sigmar band (Freeguild, mostly Handgunners, though maybe with a Freeguild Guard Sergeant as Sharpe himself). Same for a full Age of Sigmar force, with more models. Sigmar commands, and they obey. For that matter, they could be used in any of the One Page Rules games. Age of Fantasy or Age of Fantasy: Skirmish, for a more fantasy feel (using the Human Kingdoms army list). Alternatively, run them as a Human Defense Forces army in Grimdark Future or Grimdark Future: Firefight. Wouldn't be the first time you had a future military force aping the style of 18th/19th century historicals. Probably the most radical, but potentially the most on-point, are the games Sludge and Turnip28. Both games were designed with the intent of giving folks with a kitbashing itch but little interest in historical wargaming something to do with Napoleonic models. Imagine a grimdark Sharpe's Rifles. Or, more scandalous, a _Vegetable_ Sharpe's Rifles, wearing beaked face masks and sprouting roots.
