Super heavyweight division 🥊 🏆 Don't think I've ever seen smoke units on diesel locos. Would be cool on an ALCO if it was black smoke 🤩

I would consider buying one of these in NS paint, but I am already about to be working on two model RR projects. I have an AC6000 and am trying to find a Paragon2 or QSI sound decoder off eBay to replace the Paragon3 sound.

I hope scaletrains does an Sd70ace one day. I wonder if they ever will since Athearn is usually on their game with them but I would like to see what they do better

@@antoniusk8893 I would think SD70ACe is in Scaletrains future since they bought all MTH HO moldings and MTH made the SD70ACe.

BLI needs to stick with making steam locomotives. I've never been impressed with their diesel offerings. And compared with the details on ScaleTrains locomotives, BLI is severely lacking. And definitely not worth the utterly ridiculous $450 retail price tag for the sound/smoke versions. I'll pass.

Okay well you buy them there steamers and I will buy SD40-2 and C30-7s

I paid $360 for this locomotive which is higher than most new engines. It seems whenever any manufacturer uses metal the price goes up. I have a bunch of Scaletrains locomotives and I agree, they are the best in diesel locomotives. I do like locomotives with radio chatter. I wish Scaletrains had that.

I totally agree was never impressed but steam first class!
