What a gorgeous talent. The characters totally make the performance, and she seems like an outstanding human being. We need more of those. Just saw the live play a few weeks ago with my daughter. Our city had a terrific cast as well. On our way out, after the show wrapped up, I saw an older couple sobbing and embracing near the stage. They lost their son to suicide and I'm not sure I will forget that moment anytime soon. I held my daughter's hand a little tighter, told her how much I loved her, and kissed her on the cheek. It's a powerful show, no doubt, even I got a little choked up towards the end. Unless you are a robot, or stone cold, it's going to happen... actually, it should happen Maybe the original cast will do a nationwide tour at some point, for like a reunion tour years from now.
