I've always thought about the symbolism behind Armin being shot specifically in the jaw. The option of communication being forcibly shut down by Samuel. The nonverbal communication that Armin is able to get across to Daz through only his stare. What an incredibly potent scene.

Ironic how Daz has been the coward since Episode 3 then gets braver and Sameul gets saved by Sasha in Episode 4 only to die from Connie years alter.
